This time, Biden is pushing for government-backed efforts to coordinate and fund a multilayered fight against cancer, with the goal of halving cancer death rates in the next 25 years.
As he set off from Washington, Biden issued an order meant to bolster the trailblazing US biotech sector's efforts to take on growing commercial rivals in China.
The order brings federal support for 'areas that will define US biotechnology leadership and our economic competitiveness in the coming decades,' a senior Biden administration official told reporters.

This is a nice goal, but don't people who advocate for illness cures typically associate with one that effect them personally? So wouldn't dementia or Alzheimer's be a better focus for Joe?

What a demented @sshat idiot. The shots are causing huge increases in cancer, including what is being called “Turbo Cancer” - highly aggressive. It’s also causing people in remission to have re occurrences of cancer. If FJB wanted to help on the cancer front, he could STOP TODAY the killer clot/cancer shots.

Just my opinion but I think the medical profession and the pharmaceuticals are quietly doing a pretty good job of ‘slashing cancer deaths’ without interference from the government.
Never forget the EPA’s toxic river in Colorado and the simple fact that putting the government in charge of sand would create a sand shortage in the Sahara.
