Not bad ideas, but the problem is that Russia can’t trust the West anymore, on any promises, given how the West completely ignored the 2014 Minsk Accord, so Russia is forced to now occupy much more of Ukraine than they wanted.
Had the West honored 2014, there would be no war, because Ukraine would not have become a NATO country in all but name.
Not,only that, but we don’t expect any compensation from it either. We rebuild, the Ukraine will prosper as a result, and not be required to pay back or,even give a % of profits no doubt.

Illegals cost our,country approx between $600 billion and a $trillion now [it was agout $600 billion per year decades ago] after all costs, both direct and indirect are calculated.
An initial investment of about $30 billion for the wall, plus a few billion more deporting people, would save us approx $1 trillion every year.
In some prisons the inmates are nearly 3/4 illegals, and cost approx $150 a day to house per inmate.
