Too bad Columbia County didn't have a DA like those in York, Lancaster, and Cumberland (maybe some others) who specifically instructed police not to intervene in mask disputes.

What? No death penalty?
The ground is shifting under the mask hysterics.
This might wind up costing them a whole lot of taxpayer dollars.
Both prosecution and defense can use Fauci statements as evidence of masks being “ineffective and unnecessary” or to give vital protection against the Covid spread. Depends on the dates.
This tyranny needs to be crushed. It’s not just about wearing face diapers.
I know quite a few people who attended Southern Columbia in the past ten years. Its proficiency scores are nothing to be proud of, and I would say that politically, Columbia Cty leans a bit more to the Democrat side. *spit*
It’s a region full of good people, central PA (much like “Iowa Stubborn” in The Music Man) but most bought into the covid panic. The medical center that dominates in these parts is Geisinger and they are still masking everybody and interrogating at the front desk, have you symptoms, have you been out of the country?
You won’t need a mask at the courthouse or the post office, but you might at church (unless you’re there to eat or gamble).
It’s one of those rare places in America where you can still spot both plumber’s crack and a loaded pistol on the same behind simultaneously.
The farther you get from a college (Bloomsburg, Bucknell) the fewer sheep, the more mavericks.
Critical thinking is not a major resource hereabouts, particularly in academia.
That said, individuals in law enforcement are generally sane and reasonable folk. Ditto individual doctors and nurses.
Teachers...I have nothing I want to say.
