A History of Royal Incest & Inbreeding - Part 2: Royal Houses of Europe
Just coincidentally posting this today or are you trying to say something about the Saxe-Coburgs?
Well Queen Victoria did marry her first cousin.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip Cousins are third cousins.
There was some discussion on an earlier thread about Prince Philip being from the Greek Royalty. But the Greek Royalty was actually a transplanted branch of the Danish Royalty. The Danish Royalty is a branch of House of Glücksburg, which descend from the House of Oldenburg.
As the video makes clear there were some severe problems due to inbreeding. Much worse than English bulldogs that can’t breathe right or German Shepherds with bad hips.
My grandparents were first cousins also. It was a fairly common practice in both my parents’ families. And I am perfectly normal, I say as I wipe the drool off my chin.
So,
Fetterman lovers, Dr Oz was insulted for saying this.

First cousin marriage is very popular among arabs. Enough so that it is having some pretty serious effects on the gene pool thereabouts.

The results of inbreeding are predictable. We see the same here in the USA with the Kennedy and Clinton families. The subsequent generations are always inferior
the dint give the DNA a chance to breath...
It’s technecly the House of Mattbautten now.
Vaguely remember a comedians story how his son married his ex then it winds around to the point he becomes his own Grandfather.

I would guess if one goes back far enough, we all are very inbred. Some of my fairly recent ancestors came from small villages of a few hundred people in them, with cousins marrying cousins of various degrees for a long time.
