Millionaire Mitch McConnell: ‘Interesting Idea’ for Chair Rick Scott to Fund NRSC with Personal Money
Breitbart ^ | 09/08/2022 | WENDELL HUSEBØ

It is an “interesting idea” for Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) to fund the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) with his personal funds, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) — who is himself a millionaire — told Punchbowl News Thursday.

McConnell, whose net worth was estimated in 2018 to be $34,137,534, has been taking aim at Scott, who chairs the NRSC, for the way in which Scott is planning to defeat Senate Democrats in November. Scott has publicly described the minority leader’s criticisms as a “strategic disagreement.” But when McConnell’s allies have taken to writing articles condemning Scott’s leadership, the NRSC chairman called the actions “treasonous.”

Rick Scott bet it all on an early sprint. That’s seldom a good idea. These things are more like middle distance races. Unexpected things crop up that you need to counter. Scott really jumped the gun, which is why Blake Masters has been left hanging, money-wise. Of course, if Masters had spent more time fund-raising, he wouldn’t be shaking a tin cup begging for money from other senators.

Mitch is a democrat....

Rick Scott should be GOP leader in the senate

Here Are Scott’s Points Of Focus:

Every child in every school to say the pledge of allegiance, stand for the national anthem, and learn that America is the greatest country in this world.

A complete end to racial politics.

Treating Socialism as a foreign adversary and we will use all force to stop it from destroying our country.

The end to our economic relationship with communist China.

Term limits not only for politicians but also for government bureaucrats.
Common sense…such as…men are men, women are women, there are 2 genders…and science confirms that unborn babies are human beings.

A complete end to voter fraud and for protecting the integrity of our elections.

An end to the foolish soft-on-crime policies that are destroying our cities and killing innocent Americans.
Securing our border, building the wall, and naming it after President Donald J. Trump.

https://www.snopes.com/news/2022/05/19/no-evidence-mitch-mcconnell-was-court-martialed-for-sodomy-in-army/

Snopes said they can’t prove it. LOL

“In the summer of 1967 Lynch reported for his summer active duty in the 100th Training Unit Army Reserve. The Unit did their summer active duty at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. Lynch worked for S-1, the administrative arm of any army unit. Lynch worked for a Major, who was the assistant Adjutant and new to the unit. During his active duty in August of 1967 Lynch remembers coming into the office and noticed that the Major was upset. He asked him what was going on and the Major told him the following:

A new member of the 100th Army Reserve Unit in Basic Training at Ft. Knox was arrested in the barracks for sodomy. The guy is getting out of the military and the excuse will be due to an illness, an eye disorder. The Major then told a joke about it saying, “I guess the guy couldn’t see the difference between guys and girls.”

Lynch asked him how this guy could accomplish this and get a release from the army. The Major told him that the soldier had served as an intern to Senator John Sherman Cooper and Senator Cooper called the Commanding General of Ft. Knox to arrange the discharge.

At the time the Major told Lynch the name of the soldier but the name didn’t stick to his brain. Lynch said frankly it was not important at the time because the name McConnell meant nothing to him. It was not until the issue was raised in McConnell’s senate race of 1990 that he remembered the incident. Lynch provided the information to reporters with the Courier Journal and Herald Leader but they did nothing with it because they didn’t have any real evidence. They only have the story of Lynch.

McConnell has been able to brush this whole thing off as a tempest in a teapot.”

Scott needs to join up with Kevin Mc Carthy and the House Republicans and speak with one message going into the Midterms. Mc Carthy will be announcing a 4 part goal for the Republican House and Scott needs to join that and have one unified voice for the House and Senate.

Say it. He blew 100 million on a huge Jeb Bush type fundraising operation that netted little in the way of funds. Now he doesn’t have the money to fund the guys we need to win.

“Rick Scott bet it all on an early sprint.”

Trump did the same thing in 2020. His campaign coffers were nearly empty in August 2020 and he had to beg for funding from billionaire Sheldon Adelson who chipped in $75 million. Sheldon Adelson died in January 2021 so he won’t be around to fund a Trump 2024 campaign.

[Sheldon Adelson died in January 2021 so he won’t be around to fund a Trump 2024 campaign.]

I don’t think the issue is necessarily Miriam Adelson, Shelly’s widow. The problem is that the bulk of her money is tied down in Las Vegas Sands stock. LVS sold its Las Vegas holdings to focus on Macau at precisely the wrong time. And that stock has tanked due to shutdown-happy Xi Jinping.

https://thenevadaindependent.com/article/las-vegas-sands-future-rests-with-miriam-adelson-and-her-nearly-57-percent-ownership

I don’t care who’s running for office - asking the Adelson widow to sell her stock near a 10-year low is a bridge too far. And the Adelsons have done more than their share. They went against their self-interest by backing a candidate whose stated platform was sticking it to Xi Jinping. Who has final say over everything that happens in China, including casino licenses granted in Macau. IMHO, that well is dry - the Adelsons gave at the office.
