Russia expects prices for its natural gas exports to soar 140% this year as Moscow cuts supplies to Europe, report says

Russia expects the price of its natural gas exports will more than double this year compared to a year ago, according to an economy ministry forecast seen by Reuters.

This year's average price is now seen at $730 per 1,000 cubic meters, up 140% from 2021 and up 39% from the Kremlin's previous forecast for 2022.

European gas prices have skyrocketed since Russia's invasion of Ukraine as state-run energy giant Gazprom reduces flows via the Nord Stream pipeline.

After this year, Russia sees its gas export prices retreating to $471.8 in 2023 per 1,000 cubic meters, $383.9 in 2024 and $331.6 in 2025 — though they will still be above pre-invasion levels.

In the natural gas Russian sanctions boondoggle Putin will earn an additional $80B due entirely to Brussels and DC tomfoolery. It looks like the new Brit PM solution is to pay some of these increased profits directly by subsidizing quadruple home heating bills. $80B will replace a lot of old Warsaw Pact junk with the latest Chicom military tech.

“$80B will replace a lot of old Warsaw Pact junk with the latest Chicom military tech.”

Can also greatly speed up the building of new pipelines to China.

Putin also shut down Nordstrom 1* [the upscale department store].

*White Diaper Station spokeswoman Karine Jean Pierre thinks that Nordstrom 1 got shut down - doesn't apparently know what "Nordstream 1" is.

From Newsweak

Forbes calculated that between the start of the war on February 24 to its six-month point on August 24, Russia lost 12,142 pieces of equipment worth $16.56 billion. The total does not include Russian missiles, it said.

Is that $80 billion after a 50% reduction in shipments due to lack of transport capacity?

And does the price cited for this year include the discounts to China, Japan, India, etc.?

Britain’s new PM has also opened up fracking. A very good move.

That’s using dollars already in the bank (Putin’s been making money hand over fist) to date plus current shipment projections for the rest of the year at current prices. By far and away, the most likely change would be increased prices driven by the lunatics in Brussels and DC resulting in increased Russian profits.

This is pretty cool for Russia. They can produce 1/3 the natural gas and get paid the same as before.

Russia should continue this.

Sanctions never looked so good!

FITS (https://t.me/IntelRepublic/4026?single) LIKE A GLOVE (https://t.me/IntelRepublic/3550?single): Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland leading the pack for the position of Secretary General of NATO, according to Canadian CBC, citing NATO sources, Freeland is one of the biggest Ukraine supporters, as she BRAGGED before about her maternal grandparents being Ukrainian, yet constantly swept under the rug the little FACT that her maternal grandfather was chief editor of one of Goebbels favorite notorious NAZI propaganda newspapers “Krakivs’ki Visti”, going as far as SCOLDING Russia to NOT call her NAZI grandfather a NAZI.
