Some seized documents were so closely held, only the president, a Cabinet-level or near-Cabinet level official could authorize others to know
A document describing a foreign government’s military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities, was found by FBI agents who searched former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence and private club last month, according to people familiar with the matter, underscoring concerns among U.S. intelligence officials about classified material stashed in the Florida property.
Some of the seized documents detail top-secret U.S. operations so closely guarded that many senior national security officials are kept in the dark about them. Only the president, some members of his Cabinet or a near-Cabinet-level official could authorize other government officials to know details of these special-access programs, according to people familiar with the search, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive details of an ongoing investigation.
Documents about such highly classified operations require special clearances on a need-to-know basis, not just top-secret clearance. Some special-access programs can have as few as a couple dozen government personnel authorized to know of an operation’s existence. Records that deal with such programs are kept under lock and key, almost always in a secure compartmented information facility, with a designated control officer to keep careful tabs on their location.

Sounds like Adam Schitt fabricated another “leak” for WaPo and XiNN
We’ve already seen this movie replayed over and over and over
So the FBI or the DOJ is leaking the basics of a Top Secret document, that really instills faith in them.
This info is from the same “people familiar with the case” who once swore that DJT hired a hooker to pee on a bed in Moscow.
That’s why I argued with folks that trump didn’t have video of the raid at his living quarters….he was bluffing. And if he did the FBI probably took that with them too!
Of course they’ll find docs there that are important.
THE FBI WAS THERE REMEMBER. WHO IS TO SAY THAT THEY MAGICALLY APPEARED AND SUCH...OOOOO IMPORTANT.
And yet there was NO HURRY to get those important papers.
The BS is really thick.
I posted my comments without reading all the posts.
WE ARE ALL THINKING THE SAME THING!!!!
I just read on Twitter WAPO is now walking this charge back.

As Obamas visit White House on Wednesday, tensions linger between Obama, Biden camps
Barack and Michelle Obama return for the unveiling of their portraits. The event will showcase the Obama-Biden friendship, but beneath the surface, their camps are at odds over credit and style.
When former president Barack Obama returned to the White House for the first time in April, he received a hero’s welcome from Democrats. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi kissed Obama’s hand. White House staffers eagerly angled for photos. And Democrats celebrated the Affordable Care Act, the former president’s signature domestic-policy accomplishment.
Then Obama opened his remarks by saying, “Thank you, Vice President Biden.”
President Biden laughed and saluted, and Obama walked away from the podium and gave Biden a hug, vowing he was j
just making a joke. “That was all set up,” he said.
But for some longtime Biden staffers, the zinger punctured the celebratory mood. They saw the quip, intentional or not, as part of a pattern of arrogance from Obama and a reminder of the disrespect many felt from Obama’s cadre of aides toward Biden.
None of that is expected to be on public display Wednesday when Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama return to the White House for a ceremony to unveil their official White House portraits. Instead, the atmosphere is expected to be similar to a family reunion, filled with stories, jokes and affection.
Beneath that jovial atmosphere, however, is long-simmering tension, and even some jealousy, between the circles around Obama and Biden — the two Democratic presidents of the past 15 years and the ones who bracketed what Democrats see as the disastrous tenure of Donald Trump.

“Some of the seized documents detail top-secret U.S. operations so closely guarded that many senior national security officials are kept in the dark about them.”
And the President can look at them and declassify such documents...needs nobody’s permission.
What are they walking back?
Good catch.
Espionage by Biden.
Isn’t there a stiff penalty for that?
This is more BS. The media heads are making a big deal about this being foreign power nuclear capability. Even if it were true, and it’s not, anyone who has dealt with classified material knows that foreign power capabilities aren’t nearly the security concern that our own capabilities are. Most foreign weapons capabilities are unclass. We don’t care if those capabilities become public. The foreign government might care. We care about US capabilities becoming public so that enemies can’t find vulnerabilities or create countermeasures.
There are exceptions when data could only have been sourced from people or methods we don’t want to compromise, but in general “ janes all the worlds ships/planes/weapons systems” cover most of the foreign capabilities pretty well.
The Hit team that did the search wouldn’t any one associated with Trump to stay inside when they were there.
Not even one of Trump’s lawyers.
How convient.
Most likely the damaging documents were brought in by a Deep State Courier who planted them.
“Oh, look what we found!”
It’s probably in the letter Pres. Trump sent to Kim Jong Un...
Dear Lil Kim,
I really think you should stop making nuclear weapons and meet with me and talk about hotels and casinos on NORK beaches, m’kay?
The Donald
FBI: “He has a copy of the letter where he discusses a foreign countries nuclear capabilities!!! We got him!”
Oldest trick in the book by law enforcement. Local, State or Federal. “And what do you call this that we found in your car trunk? Hmmmm?”
One of the magazine articles?
I would not be surprised if it were planted by someone to frame Trump.
