The incumbent U.S. president, once again during his presidency, gave a speech on democratic values and opposition to Republican policies. Recently, Biden has been increasingly promoting anti-Republican and even anti-Trump rhetoric. He once again called supporters of the previous U.S. president threats to democracy. He said that the main task of the U.S. government is to prevent “semi-fascists” from winning the election.
The president is referring to MAGA-Republicans as “semi-fascists”. He didn’t even exactly paint them as Trump supporters, but as supporters of violence and deniers of democratic principles (including not respecting election results). Biden called them enemies of democracy and the U.S. political system. He also stated that they were ready to stage a rebellion in the spirit of the January 6 protests to end American democracy. But after once explaining the nature of his main domestic enemies, he went on to present his other political opponents in a negative light.
Biden managed to mention the word democracy 31 times during his speech. And he urged everyone to unite in the fight for democratic values. But he said, “Unless, of course, you are Trump supporters. He had spent the previous 10 minutes fiercely badmouthing them.

Interestingly, the article does not blame America or Americans for Biden’s words or attitudes, nor does the article refer to Government other than the notation of Two US Marines visible in the background and the meaning of that part of the visual.

The U.S. government is not supposed to have standing, for or against any party, in the election. Yet, it is clearly cheatin' Zhio's view that it does.

“Democracy” is one of those strange terms of which the meaning shifts dramatically, depending on who is talking about it. Communist regimes around the world are fond of calling their claimed territories as being a “People’s Republic”, or “Democratic Republic”, such allusion perhaps to mean that the the designation was a popular choice.
Turns out, that any command-and-control regime is actually hatched by a very small circle of instigators, who also, oddly enough, believe they are the appointed ones to nurture and administer the great vison they have, and at no time do they ever actively go out and campaign, selling their point of view to the great number, but imposing their hold little by little, thus normalizing the obliteration of first small freedoms, then larger and larger slices of induced conformity, until the flock turns and speaks with an overwhelming voice. Thus they have a “majority”, and therefore a “democracy”. A parliament of fools and charlatans then has free hand to impose ever greater limitations and impose a draconian legal code, based in nothing more than the whim of the moment.
Most “democracies” have a notoriously short lifetime, lasting only about as long as it takes for the voting public to learn how to help themselves to the wealth of the national treasury, and whatever financial transfers may be arranged between cronies, which ends up concentrating the power in the hands of a very few, to continue the cycle of command-and-control, far from the “democracy” they may still claim it remains.
The Dems really don't have anything else to run on - their policies have brought disaster across the board. They can't run on the economy, on foreign policy, on immigration or energy or crime. Their only play is to vilify the opposition, and they'll keep pouring it on.
Fear and division, class warfare, intimidation and threats of violence, right through to election day. Apologies to Orwell, but I'm calling it the two months hate.

When you hear Biden use the word “democratic” think “German Democratic Republic” (East Germany), “Democratic People’s Republic of Korea” (North Korea) or “Democratic Republic of the Congo.” All closer to his vision of America than the constitutional republic fashioned by the American Founding Fathers.
