Prize-winning author Toni Morrison famously joked that President Clinton’s style and ability to deliver for Black people made him the first Black president.
By Morrison’s logic, Joe Biden is the third Black president — with President Obama as the second.
President Biden’s vice president is a Black woman and he put the first Black woman on the Supreme Court.
And as the midterms approach, Biden’s work to reduce student debt and lower drug prices are big wins for Black Americans, especially given the racial wealth gap.
But Biden’s most potentially enduring political victory for Black people is taking shape in this year’s midterms.

Sorry, black voters do not matter, well, no longer matter. They did themselves in by supporting Democrat open borders and have now been replaced and marginalized by illegals from Mexico and elsewhere.
I had fully forgotten about Juan Williams. I used to watch him on Fox years back. Now, I rarely watch any TV at all.
Juan was in that position to play the role of Bete Noire, or contrarian. Geraldo Rivera had the same mission.
There were times I thought not even Juan believes certain points he’s bringing up, but that was his job, to stir the pot.
Is that the new qualifier for who is allowed to vote? Note to Juan: If you really want to help rid the United States of racism, you might want to stop making stupid, racist remarks.
Makes me wonder how the liberals would do in elections, if only informed, legal voters, regardless of their race, religion, creed or sexual orientation, were allowed to vote . . .

Clinton and Biden are the reason a generation of Blacks grew up fatherless. Joe uses tokenism to hide his racism. Kamala compromising her values for personal power doesn’t excuse Joe opposing bussing or him saying “you’re not black”(if you don’t vote for me) when a Black American says he’s got policy questions of candidate Joe.
Joe knows how to keep them in line and voting Democrat with threats, great imagery and pandering. He has no interest in their success as Americans.

I used to think Juan could not possibly believe anything he says on TV, but have realized that he really is that retarded. As far as Jerry Rivers, I knew he was an idiot during the Al Capone vaults debacle, and my opinion of him has never recovered

Slavery was the worst thing that happened to America. Just imagine what the country would be like if it hadn’t happened. Little crime, little welfare, no affirmative action, no race riots, prisons hardly full, decent big city’s , no ghettos, a bright future. The place would be peaceful like Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland. Life would be wonderful if only we could go back into one and not import these problems. It sounds racist but it nevertheless is true.

Does Obama count as the second one? He was half white so does he count as a full black president? Or are we using the Democratic "single drop of black blood" rule?
