The reason I know wind and solar will not work is because they have to use force (laws and regulations) and bribes to get people to switch over. If wind and solar was viable it would be profitable and people would be lining up to use it.This needs to be shouted from the (solar-panel-covered) rooftops. A good idea doesn't need bribes or threats; people will see it for what it is.

After all these years, a tremendous amount of taxpayer & deficit money has been wasted on all the solar & EV incentives. Also factor in the losses from structure and vehicle fires.

Inconvenient truth: the Earth is currently in the Quaternary glaciation. This ice age has lasted 2 1/2 million years with pulses of cold climate within that are termed glacial periods and intermittent warm periods within an ice age are called interglacials. . We are currently in an interglacial period and when the worm turns and the glaciers begin to grow again there is little that we can do to stop it.
