Ukraine’s First Lady’s message to Britons facing crippling energy bill hikes and a cost of living crisis is that while they might be “counting pennies”, her county is counting casualties.
“There is no comparison to the suffering of people here, but at home in the United Kingdom, as you acknowledge, people are facing very painful choices because of the soaring cost of energy that’s going to make things very tough for people,” said BBC presenter Laura Kuenssberg in an interview with President Volodymyr Zelensky’s wife, First Lady Olena Zelenska.

She needs to be sent straight to the front line - and made to stay there - until the war is over or she comes home in a body bag - like so many of her “fellow” countrymen.

Shaming people who are sacrificing for you is a poor strategy that will build resentment. The proper response would be to profusely praise Britons for their sacrifice and sympathize with their hardship, with a hopeful message at the end of getting thru this together.
She is more than welcome to sell her Swiss mansion and pick up a rifle and head East.
