We had a great visit to Comanche Lake yesterday.

Yes, the feetsies need a rest tonight. Pretty busy at the museum with just a very brief lull. We all stayed busy throughout the day and we didn’t get out of there until a little after 4:30. We were chatting about the people we’d each had for tours and all of us had really fun people. A really good day for all of us, even if we all had aching feet. LOL

Well darn. I gather you can at least get into the system now. Of all times to have trouble getting in! Dratted updates! I hope you can get everything caught up and lined up so you’re ready to go Tuesday. Long weekends seem to always come on pay week.

Had a great day at the museum and we were definitely not bored. A nice steady flow of visitors kept us all busy and we all had fun with everyone.
It was a little warm and humid but not oppressive. Cloudy for the most part and there was a stiff breeze. We’re finally getting a little rain but folks NW of us have had a rough time of it today with flash flooding.
Those darn skeeters just have to ruin a perfect evening to sit outside, don’t they? Rotten luck for you.
Great that you had a good weekend at the museum. That makes it way more fun!
Glad you got the rain, but relieved that you didn’t get the flooding part. Who needs that!
If only mosquitoes didn’t love me so much! Even if I put on repellent, they find just the spot I missed. LOL!

I wish every day could be like today. Busy but not overwhelming and EVERYONE who came through was super-friendly. All of us had a blast.
Hubby’s cousin got the last tour - three guys from Tupelo, MS. That’s where the man who the museum bought the huge collection from lives. They’ve met Mr. Creely but it’s been a while and they didn’t know he’d sold his collection. They were stunned when they found out that a lot of what they were seeing today was his. Small world.
I’m glad we’re getting some rain this weekend. We need it. There’s a little lightning out there, too, but not close enough for lightning shots.
There’s rain in the forecast every day for the next week. Possible thunderstorms tomorrow and maybe I’ll be able to get a shot then.
I’m so glad to not be a mosquito magnet like you, and like Hubby. I was when I was a kid and don’t know what changed things. Would that you could be so lucky too!
Tupelo was in the news today when some guy stole a plane and threatened to fly it into the Walmart there. Steve did a stream on it. It turned out ok.
Isn’t it nice when everything works out? I’ll bet the guys were thrilled when they saw what wonderful things y’all are doing with that magnificent collection!

Yeah, I saw the report about the plane on the news this evening. Some people are just nuts.
The Tupelo guys had only heard about the collection but hadn’t seen any of it until today. Pretty much like people around here had heard about the awesome collection of classic Chevys that were once housed in the building the museum is in. The stuff was there but not on public display.
Yes, the guys were very happy to finally get to see some of the collection. We don’t have everything on display. Not enough room for all of it but the best is out.
I did get a good lightning shot a few minutes ago when another storm blew through. It’s not in the computer yet.
Get some sleep and save your poor phone alarm’s life in the morning. :-)
