A new strain of monkeypox has been identified in the UK, health officials have confirmed.
A person who recently travelled to West Africa has been diagnosed with a different variant of monkeypox circulating during the current outbreak, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) announced.
Single genital lesions and sores on the mouth or anus have been identified as symptoms of the virus by an international collaboration of clinicians across 16 countries.
The discovery of a new strain comes days after it emerged the UK is facing a 100,000 shortfall of monkeypox vaccine doses because the UKHSA grossly underestimated how many were required.
An NHS pilot scheme is now under way offering "fractional" doses to stretch stocks of the jab in a bid to protect five times as many people.

I stand by my assessment.
The WHO should have been encouraging vaccination in endemic countries in Africa years ago.
It never says whether he caught monkeypox the new gay way or the old-fashioned way. In previous years, there were immigrants who went back to visit family in West Africa (usually Nigeria), caught it from a family member, by handling “bush meat” in preparation for a family celebration meal, or contact with the soiled bedding or clothing of a family member, etc., then flew back to the UK, occasionally spreading it to a household member. These “outbreaks” were easily and readily contained.

The article mentions that the pox blisters with this new strain are on the “anus” and around the mouth of the suspected vectors. That’s pretty gay in my book.

This appears to apply the cases already identified and spreading within the gay community. Nothing much is said about this one new case, other than it being a new strain acquired in West Africa. Perhaps it is another case of being spread through that thing gay men do with each other. But they don’t actually come out and say so.
I read a Scientific American article that detailed why monkeypox is an STD. From 8/18/2022, and author is very pro-homosexual. He calls it MPX, and points out it is effecting black and Hispanic communities most, because there aren’t enough vaccines. He said most people getting the vaccine are white. Then, he lists why monkeypox is STD.
