Seems that Carter's lawyers should have included the law about Government employees illegally using their office to get someone.

Unless it cannot be refiled, the path to success is shown.

You mean this one?

TITLE 18, U.S.C., SECTION 242

Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, ... shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

So sue the Federal Govt., along with Ex-FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith.

Page is a CIA asset. The lawsuit was smoke and mirrors from the start. This doesn’t surprise me at all.

Page should have gone with “conspiracy to commit” since that is actually what happened. Although there is probably a “hold harmless” statute that protects criminal acts committed by the FBI/DOJ . . .

Page started out on his lawsuit by representing himself. I haven’t heard that he changed and hired attorneys. While I am not against a plaintiff going into a Federal court Pro Se, it does make it tougher because the system basically is against that right of the plaintiff. He may be able to refile an ammendment to his lawsuit to make his case, but the Court loses patience pretty fast with constant ammendments that don’t meet a procedural or substantive threshold to proceed. I’ve done some of my own cases pro se and it is tough. His case is too important for him to proceed with his ego driven trip into the legal system IMHO>
