Democrat Mary Peltola won the special election to fill Alaska's House seat for the remainder of 2022, according to unofficial results released by the Alaska Division of Elections, thwarting former Gov. Sarah Palin's bid at a political comeback -- at least for a few months. Peltola emerged as the victor Wednesday when Alaska's Division of Elections tabulated ranked-choice ballots in the state's first use of the system.

Roy Moore would have won if Turtle McConnell had gotten behind him. Moore would have made a great US Senator. RINO establishment types always hated him.
It’s a low turnout primary, wait until the real deal in November. I think the same thing happened in a handful of NY primaries that the media read too much in to. remember, the media is not on our side, they are essentially a communications team for Democrats, you cannot get lulled into thinking anything else.
No, he wouldn’t have. The people of Alabama rejected him. Candidate quality matters.
It’s not enough to sit back and say: “We McConnell could have changed things.”
He couldn’t have. Even Trump couldn’t save Moore (and he tried.) Once Moore was trashed in the media, and once he gave the bumbling response on Hannity to the accusations, he was sunk.
It ... was ... Alabama. He should have won. However, even in one of the reddest States in the Union, he was sunk because he was a bad candidate.
We need to quit getting behind candidates that have flaws that cause the voters to reject them.
We disagree. Palin would have won head-to-head. Palin easily beat Begich twice with Republican voters. Again Polls do not decide elections. Most Polls are push polls to influence voting. Palin would have easily won.
Every example you give had no Establishment (RINO) support, in fact they actively worked against them.
It’s hard to claim that a poll was a “push poll” when it nailed the final result almost perfectly.
When we get the cast vote data that shows how the Palin votes would have been allocated, I’ll be sure to show you how that matches up as well.
To say it wasn’t push poll again is nonsense. It is often funny how polls are usually accurate right before the election. What were the polls saying a month or two out?
Again, the poll that called the election is not a what-if poll either. What-if polls are definitely pushed polls (never can be if accurate). Not personal, but your biggest flaw is that you are a sucker for media (polls are media clickbait). Someone so easily influenced. You don’t research the data behind polls. Also, you are aware of the cooperation between the Dems and Establishment Republicans. All the corruption between the intelligence agencies (FBI, CIA, DOJ, border patrol, etc.) is allowed by the cabal.
There is a group of both republicans and democrats destroying this country. No matter what is said in public, most of the legislation is backdoor approved in secret. Vote totals are controlled by what they can get away with and how it will influence their voters. Republicans could have stop most if not all the recent destructive votes that are currently destroying america.
The poll was taken at the in July. It was dead on accurate. A “push poll” is a nonsensical poll with loaded questions designed to gain a desired result in the poll.
This poll simply asked who the voters were going to vote for and it accurately predicted what happened.
You can stamp your feet, project, cry and whine all you want. It won’t change the fact that Palin was a flawed candidate who lost a seat that shouldn’t have been lost. The fact that YOU like her doesn’t mean that other voters, whose vote counts just as much as yours did not feel the same. And there were more of them than there are of people like you.
Begich would have held the seat. Palin did not.
She had high negatives to start and ran a bad campaign. She's a high-viz candidate and when you have the family issues she's had, it can be an issue. Why did she not attend more in-state events and less out-of-state events?
She made bad decisions and whined throughout about RCV. It's the system in place. She should have stopping the whining and figured out a way to win with the system in place.
The local GOPe won’t give a Republican seat to someone from the populist Right. They figure, vote in the DEM and come back in 2 years with their own candidate.
Keep that in mind when they’re whining for support

GOPee better change its game.
"You play a good game, GOPee, but the game's over. Time to lose!"
