Ideally defendants will be able to force the government to "prove beyond a reasonable doubt" to juries what it claims to be truth, leading to a regular cascade of embarassing defeats for government "ministry of truth" efforts. But the momentum is the other way - that they will be able to make spurious claims of "truth" that are largely appeals to authority and blind faith in their ideological commitments, with any dissent banned automatically.
