Mikhail Gorbachev, who ended the Cold War without bloodshed but failed to prevent the collapse of the Soviet Union ...This Lljungren guy must be a real commie, writing garbage like this.
“Who will inspire the Drive By Media to have gorbasms now?”
Hell, this little newsbyte is in it’s entirety a gorbasm.
“Mikhail Gorbachev, who ended the Cold War without bloodshed but failed to prevent the collapse of the Soviet Union, has died at the age of 92, Russian news agencies cited hospital officials as saying on Tuesday.”
Of course Yahoo Nudes—er— News seems to be lamenting the “collapse of the Soviet Union” and make it look as if he and he alone “Ended the Cold War without bloodshed.”
I may just puke
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Is that suppose to be Putin?
Commie-lite. Riiiiight!
But that was when Russia was communist.
Gorbachev did not end the Cold War.
He just happened to be Premier of the former Soviet Union at the time when Ronald Reagan won the Cold War.
My bad.
Snicker, snicker!
He won the Nobel Piece of Crap prize.
“Reagan and Thatcher ended it...Gorby had little choice in the matter...”
I’d like to ass Pope John Paul to Reagan and Thatcher for ending the Soviet Union.
I remember the SNL skit, where they had Raisa Gorbachev and Barbara Bush on some talk show, and everybody in the audience was ignoring Barbara, and saying how much they loved “Raisa”.
How the media can suppose that we believe anything they report is narcissistic at the least. It was President Reagan who ended the cold war with too many facts to list.
Many Russians hated him, blaming him for the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Trump would not say Gorbachev ended The Cold War
Yep, Gorby was much more popular in the US, than in Russia. I think he tried to run for President one time, and didn’t even get 1% of the vote.
Gorbachev deserved to get his “Nobel Peace Prize.”
Al Gore and Barack Obummer, did NOT!
Something nobody mentions is it was also Tianamen Square that was a big factor in getting the ball rolling in 1989, even though it was ultimately suppressed, it did inspire people in places like East Germany and Czechoslovakia to protest against their governments.
“Trump doesnโt like Reagan, that is why you hear him drop little test lines in many of his speeches.”
What? Trump Loves Reagan and Reagan thought the world of Trump. Make America Great Again is a Reagan line. Trump copies quite a bit of Reagan. Where do you get the idea that Trump doesn’t like Reagan?
