Sources told the newsletter Gelles’ first task “is deciding what to do about Chuck Todd, who despite recently signing a two-year extension, as Confider has learned, has baffled many at NBC with how long he’s remained atop the struggling show.”
NBC News White House Correspondent Kristen Welker is rumored to be a possible replacement on Meet the Press, which is the longest-running television show, having debuted in 1947.
“Todd was already demoted once this year when his Meet the Press Daily broadcast on MSNBC was relegated to NBC’s streaming service,” Confider noted. “And earlier this year, with NBC Universal CEO Jeff Shell in attendance, Todd was brutally roasted by Trevor Noah at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. ‘How are you doing?’ the Daily Show host asked Todd. ‘I’d ask a follow-up, but I know you don’t know what those are.'”

Put him in a checkered suit with a red fez-type hat held in place by a string tied under his chin. Hire a legal Italian immigrant with a hand-cranked music box. When the Italian turns the crank, Todd dances like the monkey he is and tips his hat for tips put into the cup he carries.
I just realized that I never understood the humor in that Rush-assigned moniker until I saw it written out on the computer screen.
I always thought it was some sort of allusion to F. Lee Bailey.
What did Rush used to call Mark Levin? Wasn't it "F. Lee Levin," or something like that?
Anyway I now see that Rush had something else in mind when he said "F. Chuck Todd."
You can make different connections when hearing something than you do when seeing the same thing but written out.

Obviously you replace him with a black Lesbian who identifies as Trans. It’s really just the beginning of rectifying the wrongs that have been done at msnbc for decades!

I have never watched “Meet the Press.” Has it stayed on the air for 75 years because liberals think it is too important to fail?
Same here. It's NBC's "public service" programming.
Sunday morning used to be when the networks showed programs that virtually no one was going to watch, because virtually the whole population was in church. Of course that was before viewers could record TV programs.
Does it matter? If you spend your time watching msnbc you’re probably already too far gone.
