BERLIN, Aug 30 (Reuters) - German inflation rose to its highest level in almost 50 years in August, beating a previous high set only three months earlier, as energy prices drove up inflation, data showed on Tuesday.

Someone I know who is from Europe just returned from over there. She said there is a feeling of dread and panic she’s never seen.

I don’t think it’ll hit us the same as it does europe. We are far more energy independent. Even with Democrats in charge.
