Former Washington Field Office Special Agent in Charge Tim Thibault was reportedly escorted out of the Bureau's headquarters on Friday, amid whistleblower allegations that he showed political bias in his handling of politically sensitive investigations.
The Washington Times reported eyewitness accounts that "Mr. Thibault was seen exiting the bureau’s elevator last Friday escorted by two or three 'headquarters-looking types.'"
Whistleblowers alleged that Thibault concealed the partisan nature of evidence from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to secure their approval to open an investigation into former President Donald Trump. That investigation culminated in the FBI's raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month.
The public release of the affidavit that accompanied the search warrant revealed the warrant application relied heavily on information from news articles, including a CBS Miami piece titled "Moving Trucks Spotted At Mar-a-Lago" and a Breitbart News article in which former Trump adviser Kash Patel discussed the classified status of documents the bureau previously removed from the estate on behalf of the National Archives.

This entire event was probably an excuse to get the FBI’s foot in Trumps door...They searched the property and found nothing. Now someone has to be made to look like they’re being punished.

There’s no scapegoat, just a bad story.
These stories were out there about Strzok, and they actually put him in charge of a group. He was in the thick of it.
Either100 stories today are wrong about them jumping the Appointment of a Special Master and ordering an ODNI National Security Assessment - OR this silly sounding story is correct.
To have known they were misled BEFORE the Raid, and still proceeded, and then aggressively defend it in court makes zero sense.
They are escalating this - today.

which means he had a virtual army of lawyers and senior investigators review every single word in every single document.…..unless you were in the office with him, you don’t know that.
The idea that blatant political bias was not clear is laughable.…..they don’t care about blatant political bias. They care about catching him red handed with all the goods.
Something to consider:
- they thought they were going to hit jackpot with all sorts of info.
- They were told that something was in the safe by whoever snitched. Hence they brought someone to get into it. On that note, I would have to think that being provided a SCIF, that somewhere, someone other than Pres Trump has the combo in the event that something happens to him. Someone with the right clearance.
- they get caught, because they’re rank amateurs and incredibly biased, taking his passports and attorney-client privileged stuff, that they admitted to today.
- the warrant is being picked apart.
- garland and Wray, no matter how much they may hate the guy, either, realize they’ve been played or they’re realizing it’s about to blow up and they’ve found their sacrificial lamb.
- they for damned sure don’t want Discovery. There is no hiding their methods anymore. Either they had a snitch, flipped someone or made the whole thing up. As others have stated, if the affidavit and probable cause was legit, they wouldn’t be hiding redacting anything. No need to.

The Washington times says it was about the Hunter lab-top instead of the raid. An excerpt is listed below:
“A senior FBI official in the bureau’s Washington field office has abruptly resigned after coming under congressional scrutiny for suspected political bias in handling the investigation of Hunter Biden’s laptop computer.
The Washington Times learned that Timothy Thibault, an assistant special agent in charge, was forced to leave his post. The information came from two former FBI officials familiar with the situation.”
Yes, if true, you're exactly right. And failure would not be incronguent with past FBI/DoJ efforts to get Trump.

Translation: Having picked thru all the boxes, the only thing the FBI could find were newspaper clippings, magazines, and Big Mac wrappers.
Now they need to setup a fall guy for the botched raid where I’m sure they thought if they took everything, they’d find some crime to charge Trump with.
