Why Democrats fear DeSantis more than Trump
BPR Business and Politics ^ | Steve Hecht

The Mar-a-Lago raid and hiring of 87,000 new IRS agents created by the Orwellian-named Inflation Reduction Act are part of the same agenda. Democrats, having failed to attain their short-term goals, are arranging to keep their totalitarian agenda alive through Republican congresses and possibly a presidential administration.

The widespread belief that the Biden regime wants to prevent Donald Trump from running for president in 2024 is mistaken. If Trump does not run, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will be our next president. Many people would vote for DeSantis who would not vote for Trump because of Democrats’ and their partners’ seven years of demonizing him. On the other hand, all Trump voters would also vote for DeSantis because he has proved himself in Florida, and their policies are essentially the same.

By their unprecedented and illegal attacks on PDJT, the DemoNaziCommie DNC machine has sealed their fate.
Firstly, public support for PdJT has skyrocketed (and he was already going to trounce the 2024 DNC ticket) as many genuine liberals (as distinguished from leftist operatives) are appalled at this destruction of our civil liberties and constitutional basis for governance.
Also, many non-voters are now determined to get involved and campaign, vote for PDJT.

Second, yes, DeSantis would run very strongly too. He has been looking very good... and is building solid support.

I don’t know what’s possible but a PDJT-DeSantis ticket looks outstanding. (PDJT could just announce that he doesn’t feel safe from armed breakins anymore in his Florida house and he could move to his place in NY — thus very easily providing diversity of states on the R ticket)

Because he as the office with the power to DO the things Trump has discussed with him, and which they both agree on.

Not too hard, and very political of both to do so. Smart in other words when building a new dynasty that is not clinton, kennedys before, or ANY of the Bushies (to include polesmoker JEB! mentee Charles Christopoulos/Crist now Democrat fraud).

Many people would vote for DeSantis who would not vote for Trump

Assumes facts not in evidence.

How many is "many"? Five? Ten? Ten million?

And who is Steve Hecht? A movie producer who has lived in Guatemala since 1972 and whose web business advertises "Aligning US and Latino interests"

And, while we are at it, how "many" people who would crawl over broken glass to vote for Trump are not committed to vote for DeSantis? Me for example.

DeSantis has done some good things, don't get me wrong. But the "donor community" which is gathering around DeSantis to push this line (which I have seen so many times in the past two weeks) are a suspicious crew with uncertain goals and interests.

I can't vote for DeSantis. I am committed to vote for Trump, even if he's in a cell at ADX Florence.

DeSantis is great and probably more media-proof than 45.

Nobody is "media-proof". Dirt on DeSantis will come out the minute he is identified as a Presidential candidate. And if they cannot find anything, they will just make up things. You can bet the stories are already written.

Everything the Democrats have done to President Trump; they will continue to do to every other Republican Presidential candidate. And they will expand that practice to every other opposition figure from every other party.

The Trump v. Clinton lawsuit over her shenanigans. It’s the material evidence for that case Trump filed against her and the DNC operatives. The FBI / DOJ can duck, dodge, intimidate, but when discovery collides with Hillary Clinton it’s fireworks.

Seriously.... the election is years away. This bump is supposed to last? Of course Trump is going to run unless they stop him. There is no doubt. If Trump is elected it will the democrats worst nightmare revisited. There is no way they fear DeSantis more than Trump.

The Dems are trying to equate DeSantis to Trump. They have little in common other than being tough Republicans who won’t back down.

“Even if Trump decides to not run, DeSantis would run over the Democrats like a 70 ton M1 Abrams.”

Why do people refuse to imagine what every anti trumpet, globalist, media outlet and RINO will do to DeSantis as soon as he steps one toe out of Florida?

They’re sure not acting as if they’re afraid of Discovery. Chances are Trump will be indicted.

Trump has been dealing with the deep state for 6 years. He is in a better position to deal with them once back in office. Anyway Desantis is Florida’s, keep your hands off.

They are really trying to manipulate us to ignore Trump and vote for anybody, including DeSantis. So obvious after so many attempts. Must have some really good poo on DeSantis that they are holding.

No, in this case, DeSantis is their worst nightmare. He is Trump, but with more sound social issues firmly in his agenda.

They’re not attacking DeSantis because they are attempting to lock-in Trump’s candidacy. They obviously prefer a re-run of 2020, and they think their base will come out (or mail-in) to defeat Trump.

You’re right about the fireworks. Hopefully Trump has 4 Aces up his sleeve. The evil bastards need to be taken down and humiliated.
