The Mar-a-Lago raid and hiring of 87,000 new IRS agents created by the Orwellian-named Inflation Reduction Act are part of the same agenda. Democrats, having failed to attain their short-term goals, are arranging to keep their totalitarian agenda alive through Republican congresses and possibly a presidential administration.
The widespread belief that the Biden regime wants to prevent Donald Trump from running for president in 2024 is mistaken. If Trump does not run, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will be our next president. Many people would vote for DeSantis who would not vote for Trump because of Democrats’ and their partners’ seven years of demonizing him. On the other hand, all Trump voters would also vote for DeSantis because he has proved himself in Florida, and their policies are essentially the same.

For one thing, Trump got rid of the stupid idea that abortion is a constitutional right. What republicans have been running on - “we’ll get rid of abortion” and Dems have been running on-“we’ll keep republicans from taking away abortion”

I hope Trump and DeSantis have discussed 2024 and come up with a plan. Perhaps a decision hasn’t been made yet, but they must realize the need to get behind one of them.

We can credit Mitch McConnell keeping Scalia's seat open and RBG dying on Trump's watch for this, just as much as Trump himself.
But credit is due. Trump had the opportunity to give us three justices who would overturn RvW and they did just that.
I will also credit Trump for what might've been his greatest accomplishment. He kept Hillary Clinton out of the White House. For this alone, he earns my deepest gratitude.
This being said, Trump is too old. His final year in office was a disaster. I don't believe he can win in 2024. Winning back the White House is priority #1. I'm looking elsewhere. However, unlike those here who will help elect Democrats by writing in Trump's name if he isn't on the ticket, I will support Trump enthusiastically if he earns the nomination.
