Here’s what the Russians have to say:

“When the Khokhol is not cut for a very long time, he himself rushes to the knife.

Brief description of today’s Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Ukraine has suffered major casualties today”

I suspect this is far closer to the truth than the MI6/Zelensky spin on the day’s events. Attacking across the steppe? Likely suicidal..a meal for artillery and rockets. I will see what the Military Summary Channel has to say.

And will the stupid posts about bridges never end? The UFA hasn’t shown the fire power to do more than damage roadways, which are easily fixed since the Russians don’t have to do bogus environmental studies, engage in bidding, deal with unions, etc. Their engineers just show up and fix stuff. Structural damage would be more serious, but there’s no evidence that any has occurred, and HIMARS alone can’t do it. They aren’t designed for it...just a 23.5 kg warhead.

Someone counted that it took $70 million in ordnance to make holes in the bridge and a dozen Uzbeks and one concrete mixer to fix it.

Incorrect on that last. While I’d much rather have a 1000 lb. warhead if going after a large bridge, HIMARS can launch (singly) the ATACMS M48 missile with a 500 lb. unitary warhead. This would be roughly consistent with a couple of the craters seen in sat photos in recent weeks.

However we claim we are not supplying the heavier warhead.

Of course, Russia backers will say anything our officials say is a lie, so...

Yeah, the Russians probably just setup the ferry because they prefer inefficient transport, and what better way to demonstrate that then stop using a perfectly fine bridge and resort to using a ferry alongside it instead.

Cracking analysis, old chap! Surely you charge for the newsletter.

I posted the active war map and since two days ago the map was on fire with Ivan’s artillery- more than 120,000 rounds reported a day, across the entire line- north to south. Easy to figure Vlad was softening up the area.

You can predict much by watching the live interactive map. Massive Artillery strikes are one thing that is pretty well reported, hard to hide- but western MSM seems to not report it- bad news for the Ukies .
