Incorrect on that last. While I’d much rather have a 1000 lb. warhead if going after a large bridge, HIMARS can launch (singly) the ATACMS M48 missile with a 500 lb. unitary warhead. This would be roughly consistent with a couple of the craters seen in sat photos in recent weeks.
However we claim we are not supplying the heavier warhead.
Of course, Russia backers will say anything our officials say is a lie, so...
The missiles for HIMARS in possession of the UFA has a 23.5 kg warhead. A missile we haven’t given them is not relevant to what has happened or will happen to those bridges. I do agree that a 500 kg warhead would do far more significant damage.
