Up until Covid I was teaching at Auburn University to many students from Maxwell AFB and the Air War College (AWC). I taught technology after I retired, and even wrote and taught a Manager's Course for Azure Cloud Services. Talk about buzzwords! Seriously, the course was not for the already technical but those who would be in charge of the technicians. The majority just wanted to know what it was all about, beyond the buzz words... They even got credit from the AWC for taking it.

Some are, for sure. Most don't. But that's NOTHING new. I remember the late 1970s. As a young airman I met many a Vietnam fighter pilot, brown shoe sergeants and Self Inspection Checklist SAC guys; all full of buzzwords.
There's nothing new here. It's always been that way, forever.
And McPeak's Total Quality Air Force (TQM) of the early 1990s... couldn't be more buzzword that that ride.

Your points are well made I guess the thing that bothers me is this constant use of the term nazi. It is so tiresome. The nazis did not invent the tactics of secret police, torture, ethnic superiority, propaganda and control of media or desires for land that is not legitimately theirs. Callin anyone who uses these tactics nazis is just dumb and brings emotions to the debate that are not necessary.
