I see, sorry. My retort would be, "Shall we give up the view of the ground so that we can cover it it with solar cells?". Also, since Germans don't have far to drive they would not need to stop along the route to recharge.

A drive from Atlanta to Denver would be a pain in the butt with an EV. Yes, I do that drive.

I believe the Indians were discussing inter-city busses and the Germans are using the hydrogen to replace diesel in trains. So, no one is at this time is using hydrogen to drive from Atlanta to Denver. Though if there were hydrogen supplied filling station the drive would be no worse than stopping to put gasoline in your car. It’s not like an 8-hour recharge of a battery.
