Did ya have fun at the museum this weekend? Hope you also had nice weather to enjoy.
Ours was nice, but warmed up a LOT. Even worse tomorrow...97!! Ugh. Then back down to normal.

It was a pretty dead weekend at the museum. Three of us working yesterday and we each had a tour. Today, not a soul walked in until almost 2:00, then we got slammed. Folks piled in all at once. It was fun but it was hectic and we finally got out of there at 4:30 (closing time is 3:00).
It was a beautiful day, perfect for going to the area lakes or other outdoors activities. A bit warm but not unbearable as long as the breeze blew. If it stopped, you could feel how muggy the air is.
Ugh. Gonna be pretty toasty down your way tomorrow. The good thing is it won’t be long-play.

Yes, feetsies are up, though they aren’t too tired tonight. Only had a two-hour crush at the end of the day today with no one all morning. We just sat around and chatted.
Can’t say I learned any new things. We had a few repeaters who had come back with friends who hadn’t been to the museum before. One was a man I took through last year. He just moved down here from IL a few months ago and is starting up a TN chapter of Operation Handshake. He was down here looking around for a place to buy last year when he was here and he finally got lucky. It was nice to see him again and to be able to say, “Welcome to the neighborhood.” LOL
It was nice the others too. We always enjoy seeing people come back to see the place and check out new things that have been added.
Ya reckon it’s ever going to stop raining up there? By now ya’ll shouldn’t have to worry about fires starting up in the homeless camps.
Ain’t that the way it happens. Nothing, nothing, nothing...slammed! But I know you enjoyed it. Would have been nice if they’d have paced themselves so you’d be busy all weekend.
Yeah. that’s what I’m keeping in my mind. One day. One day. Not weeks at a time. There is one day this week that the high is 79. THAT’S what I’m talkin’ about! LOL!
Fridays have always been slow but the past three weeks slowed down more because the kids went back to school.
We’ve never had a Saturday with no one showing up til almost closing time. We were discussing just closing up shop and going home when the first couple walked in.
Yes, spreading it out would have been better but we all had a good time.
Ooooooo! You’re expecting 79 next week? Lucky you! We have a couple more days of low 90s, then upper 80s follow. Mid 80s by next weekend and that’ll be just fine.

Mid 80s and lower humidity will feel good enough to suit us later in the week.
