Much more important than “green energy solutions” is energy independence. And where that is not feasible, diversifying your energy sources such that the loss of one or another doesn’t leave you with blackouts.

To those who don’t crunch energy numbers for a living, here’s an easy to see the impacts for Italy, for example:

Look at your electricity bill for each of the past 12 months and multiply each bill by 15. That is what you will pay for each of the next 12 months, if you live in most of Europe.

The above is made up of having to power 10 TIMES as much for the power itself and then bumping it up by 50% due to the lower household income in Italy. For the UK, roughly the same, for France maybe multiply by 13 as household income is a bit higher.

Bottom line, if Europeans are too whipped to fight this crap, the 20+ million ‘new arrivals’ will likely let their new host governments know what they think of it.
