Except there is no evidence that Ukraine uses the GPS-guided tube artillery.

Lets see here Mr Russian Troll, they have M777s and HIMARS both of which they were given have guided shells for, not to mention several of SPGs from other countries use them.

There are no DFCMs installed on M777s because they proved to be a security risk on the first few days. It can’t be used with smart munitions without it. HIMARs can fire GPS-guided munitions but they aren’t “shells”.

“That is, in reality, they go drunk with machine guns at the nuclear power plant. And it is not known what is on their mind,” the source said.

Sounds like the FBI goons who raided Mar A Lago.

“Otherwise, they would have accepted Putin’s ultimatum in February with no fighting taking place, and maintained statehood.”

Jeez. Russia’s telly broadcasts to its own people, over the last six months, have swerved from calling for all-out genocide against Ukrainians one day to nuking the West the next. That follows 20 years of veiled threats and massive butt-hurt swerves from the Greater Russian Empire fanatics.

We know from Ukrainians inside Russia that ultranationalist Russian “intellectuals” have been talking like that about EVERY former Soviet republic, pretty much all the time since the Soviet Union broke up. One minute they’re being patronising about needing to take care of their little brothers from the former USSR, the next they’re calling their little brothers all kinds of names and arguing for a wholesale erasure of everything that makes them independent.

Ukraine has had 20 years to observe how Russian proxies, soldiers, and military commanders, translate this Russian fascist expansionist rhetoric into direct action on the turfs of MULTIPLE former Soviet republics - they always knew they were simply the next in line for the Chechnya / Georgia treatment.

Of course the Ukrainians weren’t going to take the deal Putin put on the table in February. It was a deal that served ONLY the interests of Russia, a deal deliberately intended to leave not just Ukraine but the Baltics without ANY defence against future aggression from Russian, and a deal that provided no assurances that Russia wouldn’t break the deal the second it was expedient to do so like they’ve done with EVERY PREVIOUS DEAL Ukraine’s entered into with it.

Eastern Europe has had enough of Russia salami-slicing its way through the ex-Soviet freed states, but they lack the power to do anything.

NATO does that the longer Russia keeps getting away with bullshit pretexts for bullshit “operations” that are really no different to what Saddam was doing with Kuwait, the more likely it is that China will decide, when even a mongrel third world version of what used to be a half-decent country called Russia can get away with it then they DEFINITELY can. So the whole of NATO knows, unless its own members want THAT kind of New World Order, Russian aggression needs to be comprehensively kicked in the balls.

For the last 20 years NATO’s response to Russia has been utterly pathetic - amounting to, “are they invading anybody we care about? No? Then leave them alone.”

Europe kept putting sweeteners on the table for Russia to follow the western countries from the former Soviet bloc - to modernise, reform, and PROSPER through peace and innovation. Putin and co are stuck in the 19th Century and are having none of that, so they’ve instead doubled down on gangsterism and merrily dragged the nation backwards, into a third world basket case hermit state status.

Russia did it to themselves, and they didn’t need any assistance or provocation from outside. But there was always going to be a point where the people at the sharp end of their angry wasp bullshit were going to realise there’s no point signing any peace deal with a state that is pathologically anti-peace. And Ukraine said, “Nope - we’re not putting up with your bullshit anymore.”

Guns are also extraordinarily accurate these days, but people still get shot by accident and mistake. Similarly, as to artillery, was an enemy target correctly identified? Have the proper coordinates been entered? Are the propellant load and fusing correct? And since the Ukrainians are still using a lot of unguided shells, there are even more sources of error and inaccuracy, such as wind and atmospheric conditions.

LOL. The bias is through the roof. I mentioned that you view the Chechen issue as a problem of Russian nationalism without looking into details of it, but for some reason don’t see Crimea and Donbas as a problem of Ukrainian nationalism.
Why?
Regarding the way of Eastern Europe to prosperity, thanks for a laugh!
After 30 years and hundreds of millions in handouts your “economic tigers” are barely nominally on par with Russia which was still under trade restrictions inflicted on the USSR which gradually piled up over last 20 years.
Come to Lithuania taking pride in its “Europeanness.” They have a nice Western-looking “Freedom square” in the capital’s downtown but there is no asphalt on the street next to it and it is full crack shacks falling apart without running water. They lost all their industries and 40% of population since 1991. That is some example to follow!:)

Picky troll these days - nothing better to do? Aren’t there some small children in your neighborhood you could harass and steal candy from?

If you’d kept up, which being a nasty Ruzzian you would not know how, they were supplied some months ago with the needed guidance units - of slightly different design, but just as effective - as well as GPS munitions for them

Is this Chicago or New York we're reading about here? Could very well be the case.

Maybe the UK should worry about their own domestic problems with energy?

They are about to go into meltdown mode over there with some bills as high as $5,000!

I think there’s a point somewhere, that you missed by a galaxy.

There’s no difference between Ukrainian nationalism, American nationalism, Chechen nationalism or Georgian nationalism IF IT IS INTERNAL TO THE STATE. Steered in the right way it can be a force for good, or not. As long as it’s only affecting internal politics, it shouldn’t worry the whole world.

Russian imperial nationalism - ensures the countries around it are in constant fear of invasion. Russia has no recent experience of being invaded - the last time it had to worry about that was World War 2. By contrast, every single eastern bloc nation has watched Russia invade neighbors since the turn of this century.

Russia’s revanchism WILL provoke a world war; it’s not a question of if but when. Sooner or later, they were going to pick the wrong country to invade.

You are still ignoring my points, blindly pushing your agenda.
What is the fundamental difference between Donbas and Kosovo?
Why Ukraine ignored Minsk agreements which were about to restore its territorial integrity to start with?

OK, I’ll bite - although I have answered these questions before. Not my fault if you can’t remember; that Russian “truth” stuff tends to mess with long term recall.

“What is the fundamental difference between Donbas and Kosovo?”

The opinion of Russia, fixated as it is with Slavic / Russian ethnonationalist unity, and “dominance” through language.

You might as well ask, what’s the difference between Russia accepting within seven days (and then forcing Serbia to accept) the recognition of Montenegro, and doing the same thing with Donbas, but NOT doing it with Kosovo.

Kosovo Albanians are an ethnic group imported into the region during the Ottoman occupation. They sought independence - like Donbas - except, they’re the infiltrator groups. For that reason, Serbia had every moral right to oppose a hostile takeover of their territory by an implanted population. What they didn’t have a right to do was use genocide to resolve the problem.

So Russia concludes, implanted Albanian population + separatist moves + dominance of the Albanian language within a unitary state = can’t support the separatists. Basically, they weren’t Slavic and didn’t speak Serbo-Croat. It’s as cretinous as that.

With Montenegro, the majority of separatists speak Serbo-Croat, and are Slavic. So their separatism was OK by Russia. Ditto Donbas.

If you think Serbia has a moral defence for doing what it did to Kosovo Albanians, and if you think Russia is right to refuse to accept the premise that Kosovo is an independent state, then by Russia’s own logic Ukraine was entirely within its rights to push back on Donbas independence especially once it became clear that the independence movement was being sponsored by an influx of migrants and mercenaries from the country standing to benefit.

But there’s two other differences:

1. If Montenegro separatists had not been Slavs, and if Russia had viewed them as an implanted group designed to promote anti-Serb divisions, Russia would’ve taken the exact same line on Montenegro that it took on Kosovo. (Kosovo’s entire independence movement was based on the presence of an implanted, non-Slavic population - and that’s the primary reason why Russia is on Serbia’s side over Kosovo).

2. Russia ignores the fact that the only reason most of eastern Ukraine can speak Russian as their first language is because the USSR actively suppressed other languages - through education, and by moving Russian speakers into the region while forcing non-Russian speakers out. Hence Russian separatists are an implanted population in the Donbas, just as Kosovo Albanians are an implanted population in Serbia.

“Why Ukraine ignored Minsk agreements which were about to restore its territorial integrity to start with?”

For Minsk 1, you’d have to ask Poroshenko. I was not on Ukraine’s side while he was in power. I don’t dispute the fact they didn’t comply.

For Minsk 2, you’d have to ask Russia and the PARAMILITARY Donbas commanders why this claim of theirs is contradicted by their own Ministry of the interior based in Donetsk.

Those reports say very clearly, THINGS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER AFTER POROSHENKO LEFT OFFICE. And not by increments. Civilian deaths due to ongoing conflict between separatists and nationalists fell by over 90% between January 2019 and December 2021. That’s not a Western figure - that’s the figure stated by the DPR.

Donbas civilian authority reports state very clearly, Zelenskyy was driving forward the Minsk 2 implementation. I’ve pointed you and others to those reports on countless occasions - I don’t recall you ever acknowledging even the obvious fact that they TOTALLY contradict the Kremlin’s pro-war narrative.
