In an extensive interview with journalist Bari Weiss on her podcast, "Honestly," former Trump administration Attorney General William Barr said that "if I had to bet" who'd be elected president in 2024, he'd say Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Well, since I always get the last word, here's the most realistic scenario.
A year from now Trump will be looking at indictments and prison.
You'd better hope that someone like Ron DeSantis will step in and crush the FBI because, sure as sh*t, Trump ain't gonna do it.
Do you think DeSantis the “politician” would do more to expose and prosecute the treasonous Government participants and “politicians” so it never happens again or do you think Trump would ?
That was the point of my 1st post to you... if nobody goes to jail for what they have done to this country... it will just happen again the next time the Dems are in charge...
Can you at least admit that Trump is best suited for that job after having gone thru what he has?
I can think of 7,804,591,681,202.28 reasons immediately why Donald J. Trump should not be given a 2nd chance. In just 1.6 months I can already think of 3,072,484,372,348.11 reasons immediately why Joseph Biden Jr. shouldn’t be given a 2nd term either. I think its shocking and devastating how the US federal government has accumulated more debt since POTUS-44 left office 5.6 years ago then it had accumulated through 4 different centuries until POTUS-44 took office in 2009.

Yet you would be against a uniform tariff. Right? Most deficit hawks are really chicken hawks.
“The constitutional provision making Congress the ultimate authority on government spending passed with far less debate. The framers were unanimous that Congress, as the representatives of the people, should be in control of public funds—not the President or executive branch agencies. This strongly-held belief was rooted in the framers’ experiences with England, where the king had wide latitude over spending once the money had been raised.”
“No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.”

Well thanks for admitting you’re trolling and not serious. You started with nonsequiturs and end with red herrings, completely ignoring my good advice for DeSantis. Back on topic: do you really think this de-facto endorsement by Barr looks good for DeSantis and does not hurt him to the point where DeSabtis would want to utterly reject it?
I also see you’re just fine with the DOJ violating the Fourth Amendment, never mind implying that a Republican Congress will continue shredding the Constitution just because of animus towards Trump instead of reversing the tremendous damage being done to the USA that you’re obviously fine with. Interesting opus . . .
Can you at least admit that Trump is best suited for that job after having gone thru what he has?
FRiend, I'm just pointing out the facts. Trump's a great guy, but you have to admit he's made some questionable hiring decisions in the past. He didn't fire Fauci, and he hired many of the Deep Staters now working against him like Wray. Whereas DeSantis has fired leftist prosecutors who refused to do their jobs, he plans to fire woke teachers who indoctrinate rather than educate, and his people have arrested 20 fraudulent voters. That's not a big number, but it's 20 more than Trump's people ever arrested for voter fraud. So going by their respective records, DeSantis has done more to "expose and prosecute the treasonous Government participants" than Trump has.
PS. You cannot predict with certainty what DeSantis will do in any imaginary future scenario any more than I can. Please do not attempt to do so. Nor can you predict what Trump would do should he regain executive power in the federal government.
Trump cannot read minds any more than you or I can. One man cannot defray treason single-handed.
Remember the big “Tea Party wave” in 2010, when Obama declared himself “shellack(ed)”? Turned out Obama was feinting, and only later did we find out how many RINOs rode that wave into Congress and the Senate.
He'd never win here, but the image of the liberals hopping around like crazed rabbits makes it an interesting thought.
The hatred for Reagan was not as visceral. The hatred for Trump is in direct proportion to his enormous popularity.
We have no clear enemy in the rest of the world right now. We have enemies all right but they are not really acknowledged clearly and widely, even though one might say we are at war.
So the hatred is all directed at their favorite hate object in national politics, someone who they never thought could exist to foil their plans.
It’s not hard to figure out who our enemies are in the rest of the world. Just look at how their media outlets portray Trump.
Congress is certainly not blameless on this, and they do have the power of the purse as you have pointed out. For starts, its almost impossible to get any legislation through the House without the consent of the Speaker. So, getting a good Speaker in there is important. And I don’t mean some fiscal disaster like Hastert of Illinois, Boehner of Ohio, or Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. What’s needed is a real Leader there.
Another position where we really need a good strong leader, who will make good choices in picking people and using the veto pen to stop deficit spending, is the office of President. Trump failed plenty in the past. By the summer of 2028 I believe that the GOP will be toast if he gets put in there and the national debt will be well on its way to 100 trillion.
lol... you're entitled to you're own “opinion” but not your own facts...
Go back to DU and make sure they still agree with you...
lol... you're entitled to you're own “opinion” but not your own facts...
What have I said that is incorrect?
I agree.
Whats your name there?...Ill answer you...
Once again, what facts did I say that were incorrect? Did Trump actually fire Fauci? Did someone other than Trump hire Wray as FBI director? Are any of the links I provided on DeSantis’s record incorrect?
We can’t have an honest discussion if I don’t know what the hell you are talking about.
Maybe he knows the *fix* is in, for DeSantis.
lol... you're right about that !...You don't have a clue....
Go back to the 1st post I send to you...Answer that and then we can talk...Who will address the Treason best?? or do you just want to sweep that under the rug??
