The paperwork just released, containing portions of the affidavit, is as predicted heavily redacted.

The document says: “Information in the affidavit could be used to identify many, if not all, of these witnesses. For example” – which is followed by a long redacted passage.

The document then adds: “If witnesses’ identities are exposed, they could be subjected to harms including retaliation, intimidation, or harassment, and even threats to their physical safety. As the court has already noted, ‘these concerns are not hypothetical in this case’.”

I remember when the FBI raided Clinton’s home - and Obama’s and took back overdue library books...

Basically it looks like some rat at the National Archives saw what they thought was a classified document in the items returned back in February, so he called in the FBI to see if there was anything else.

All in all, it looks like once you get passed the legal notes, there is an awful lot of black ink. The FBI looks sneaky, once again.

Generally, yes. However, Trump hasn’t been charged with a crime yet. Once he charged, and he will be, then he is afforded more protections under the Constitution.
