Morning Consult has reported five years’ worth of data from over 8.6 million participants that shows a trend of America’s registered voters moving steadily to the ideological right.
“The left is losing the battle for the minds of the American electorate, Morning Consult research shows, with voters decreasingly identifying as liberal in recent years,” writes Morning Consult political reporter Eli Yokley. “But that doesn’t mean the country is lurching to the right.”
Yokley then makes an effort to pretend the trend isn’t what it looks like: “Instead, an increase in the share of Americans who identify as moderate, or who are uncertain about where exactly they stand on the ideological spectrum, reveals a growing and electorally decisive center that is discontented with either side’s extremes.”
Except that the percentage of voters who identify as conservative actually increased slightly, while only those who call themselves liberal decreased. Call me crazy but that just sounds like Democrats are turning away from far-left ideology to become more moderate:
The share of the electorate who identifies as “very liberal,” “liberal” or “somewhat liberal” on a seven-point scale has dropped over the past five years, from 34% to 27%, according to extensive annual Morning Consult survey research conducted among more than 8.6 million U.S. voters since 2017.
Meanwhile, “Even as Democratic voters drift toward the middle, the data shows that the Republican Party’s adherents are shifting further to the right — and it’s happening quickly,” writes Yokley.
Or to put it another way, the whole country is moving in a rightward direction.
This trend is concurrent with the largest group of people consistently falling into the conservative camp — 39% in 2022, from 38% in 2017. Meanwhile, the liberal cohort has shrunk from a high of 34% in 2017 to a mere 27% as of now.

Black and Hispanic voters who identity as liberal declined by double digits since 2017
% who identity as liberal:
Black voters in 2017 - 54%
Black voters in 2022 - 32% (-22)
Hispanic voters in 2017 - 55%
Hispanic voters in 2022 - 37% (-18)
But wait, we were just told that the republican loosing in NY singled that the republicans already lost the 2022 election.
This is why i’m not concerned about the polls and recent articles claiming November won’t be a red wave. You have states such as Florida and Kentucky where the majority of voters are now GOP after years of being a rat majority.
I’m sure its like that in other states but they are purposely withholding the data.

“Conservative” and “liberal” are very subjective, meaningless labels. Most people think that they’re the moderate and reasonable one. Everyone to the right of me is a reactionary, and everyone to the left is an extremist. Or the other way around.
Nice! But unless the Democrats relinquish their total conteol of the election system, in a good will gesture, even if 340m voted GOP, the outcome would still be a Blue landslide.
Who wants a squishy RINO representing them? Put in fighters like Trump, DeSantis, Marjorie-Taylor, etc. and our ranks will grow exponentially.

The Marxist progressives would not be attacking our institutions only to lose their gains in midterms. They are certain they are going to stay in power.
I can honestly vouch for the Hispanic community. The majority are family oriented God-fearing hard-working Hispanics. Not all but the majority. We are more worried about putting rice beans tortillas on the table then paying off somebody else’s bills. If the Republicans would only concentrate on the economics, schools pushing sex and homosexuality agendas along with hitting the Hispanic community with the post communism they left behind etc....We care about faith country family a good living a peaceful living opportunities etc. etc. Not the sewer garbage the rats 🐀 are pushing down our throats! You think that the Republicans would be hitting it out of the ballpark with all these items but they’re not they’re just sitting kicking back thinking oh this is the year the Republicans get both houses. I’ve got news for them this is a dog fight. And the one that scratches out the eyes of the opponent wins. And unfortunately so far the rats are doing a better diabolical job of it! This is a winning strategy and Oz+ should’ve been way ahead in the polls if they would’ve kept hitting the public over the head with that constantly. If he would’ve come out of the gate gangbusters that psychedelic bald headed nasty communist Uncle Fester POS would be way down in the polls!
Many Republicans are very uncomfortable using Alinsky tactics to win.
When they get over it they will start winning—big.
