That’s just wrong. You don’t have to “win” fundraising to win the election, but it matters directionally. If one side is trending down, and one side is trending up, it shows where voter intensity is. It isn’t dem vs rep that is the issue, it is dem vs dem (looking better) and rep vs rep (looking worse).
