Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) will be heading to at least five more states amid growing speculation that he might run for president in 2024.
Kristin Davison, a political adviser to the governor, confirmed to The Hill that he will be traveling to Georgia, Kansas, Nevada, Oregon and New Mexico, where he’s seeking to hold rallies with the GOP gubernatorial candidate in each state.

I think he should focus on governing his state. DeSantis is winning, because he’s out there actually governing. And popularly.
He might spend some time earning the “former presidential candidate” tag, but he’s not running for president.
he should try to be a successful governor first! Come on Glenn finish what ya started
Fix Virginia first then he’d have something to run on. It has a long way to go.
Agreed. It’s premature.
Of course this source is questionable IMO.
Please don’t be fooled by his couple of years of feigned conservatism. This is China Ray Dalio’s long-time CEO at CIA-rumored Bridgewater, the biggest hedge fund on the planet.
term limited
past governors have gone on to senator
he would have to knock off warner or kane
Youngkin needs to slow down and be a good governor first. Why the heck is he traveling to five states?
It’s the non-Trumper in him. Thinks it will stick to the masses. We’ll(he’ll) see.
NH/Iowa not mentioned among the 5.
He’s running for VP because that position is wide open.
No. I already have a top two, there’s no room for Youngkin. I am having a difficult enough time choosing between Adam and Liz. (Just kidding) Youngkin doesn’t have the record of either Trump or DeSantis. My ideal is Trump for 4 years, and then DeSantis for 8 years. That’s 12 years of stability. That is a major reason for Trump to run in ‘24.
I agree with you. In 2024, Youngkin should run against Sen. Kaine. If he wins, he should run for president in 2028 or ‘32.
Youngkin in ‘24? No thanks.
From what I”ve seen and heard, Youngkin is more of an establishment-type Republican. He needs to stay in Virginia politics.
His non-Trump stances makes him quite suspicious. Reminds me of John Kasick. Also the Liberals and Rinos will step in and throw tons of money at anyone they believe would have a chance at fracturing Trumps hold on the Republican masses.
Nominating him for anything is pretty much taking another dive in the presidential election. Watch out for the Linda-Chinese-wife connection.
No thanks, he can stay where he is.
“He’s running for VP because that position is wide open.”
Yep. It’s pretty obvious.
