The U.S. State Department issued a warning over the threat of increased Russian strikes on Ukraine during the week of its independence day on Aug. 24, urging remaining Americans in Ukraine to leave the country.

If the declared "special military operation" becomes a declared and open war, the notion that Western Ukraine will have a working infrastructure, internet access and a working pipeline for transshipment of energy to Europe will dissolve.

I don't care on which side the Freepers are of the many possible alternatives, a declared and open war would not be a place for Americans.

Zelensky trying hard to get Ukrainians to return because he needs more fighters.... but then suspends the exemptions for fighting men, so if they return they're going to have to fight.

Not really - Leaders have massive military escorts in and out....and fully staged photo-ops. Not the same for the population foreign or domestic.

I'm not talking about Russia taking territory, I'm talking about Russian missiles hitting every piece of critical infrastructure in the western half of the Ukraine and crippling it like what we did to Yugoslavia.
