KIEV, Ukraine — Until this week, Ukrainians seemed to see President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as beyond reproach, a national hero who stayed in Kiev despite the risk to his personal safety to lead his country against invading Russian troops.
In the interview with The Post, published Tuesday, Zelenskyy cited his fears that Ukrainians would panic, flee the country and trigger economic collapse as the reason he chose not to share the stark warnings passed on by U.S. officials regarding Russia’s plans.
“If we had communicated that . . . then I would have been losing $7 billion a month since last October...." Zelenskyy said.
Sevgil Musaieva, editor in chief of the Ukrainska Pravda, a Ukrainian news site, posted on Facebook that she was “personally offended” by Zelenskyy’s explanation, saying it called into question the intelligence of Ukrainians. She wouldn’t have fled, she said, and the potential $7 billion-a-month cost to the economy has to be weighed against the lives lost

Well Norse, I saw through Zelensky from the get go....and this entire stage show he’s put on. And I will add this includes his wife....and his leadership partners on staff.
These people were planning on going to war .....and they were staging everything beforehand we’ve seen play out. They had no intentions of complying to any of the negotiations prior that they agreed on - they were simply preparing for war with Russia trusting that Nato would assist, as we also saw before and thereafter.
So I have a particuliar disdain for Zelensky and his co-horts.
He also wants the professionals who fled Ukraine returned; he knows the brain drain will cripple them going forward.

It isn’t just the conflicts; it is a corrupt failed state. They knew since the first invasion in 2014 that this was coming, and didn’t prepare for Part II.
On August 12, Zelensky introduced two bills to the Verkhovna Rada on the extension of martial law from August 23 and on the extension of general mobilization for 90 days..... So any men returning will have to fight.
Why don’t you focus on the illegals in the USA rather than posting feeds from the Kremlin?

Indeed Zelensky is trying to force Ukrainians back. He’s sent several bills thru to try and make that happen. He’s behaving like a dictator would by use of force.....yet claims Ukraine is a Democracy....it isn’t.
Ukraine is a kleptocracy, which is why many won’t defend it.
I couldn’t imagine trying to conscript people in the US today; it simply couldn’t work. Our masses learned too much from the criminal conduct of our rulers during the Vietnam War - I’m sorry, “police action”...
