Supply Chain Shortages Making Hurricane Season Even Scarier-(ccp transformers lack off)

Multiple state officials are worried that supply chain shortages will worsen an already above-average hurricane season.

On Saturday, Fox Business reported that transformers, which convert high voltage into low voltage usable in residential homes, are in short supply.

"Transformers are a critical component for electric restoration and electric delivery. Some manufacturers were not even taking new orders for transformers because they have such a backlog already," Amy Zubaly, the executive director for the Florida Municipal Electric Association, told Fox.

In Texas, similar concerns prompted CPS Energy to warn housing developers that new transformers may not be available for projects, replicating Florida's hurricane emergency in the Lone Star State.

"If a bad hurricane comes in, it's going to wipe out the inventory and then that's going to bring us a few more pain points, if you will," Maria Garcia, vice president of supply chain at CPS, told Texas Public Radio earlier this month.

My understanding is that people who assemble the large transformers get their hands dirty - therefore, we’ve outsourced that critical need to our enemies.

an already above-average hurricane season

Lie, see the following headlines, especially the last one:

Why haven’t there been hurricanes so far this year?

I actually bought a pedal-powered generator a few years back. It’s not my only power source, I also have a TEG and some small solar panels. I figure this way I can charge small devices no matter what the weather is like.

More and more I keep seeing requests from people in Europe asking for advice on how to get by without electricity or natural gas. I’m afraid to see what it’s going to look like over there when winter comes!

“an already above-average hurricane season”

Funny, I visit ventusky.com every day and the only thing I’ve seen this summer is a tropical storm hitting the Philippines.

Of course, we are not to believe our lying eyes these days.

Joe Bastardi over at WeatherBell is saying the same thing about the tropical weather. It’s very quiet.

The Saturday Summary is only going to be the current one so this link will only be good for the rest of the week, unless he talks about it again later. It simply takes you to his current weekly one. It does not archive past ones.

The Saturday Summary is about halfway down this page, immediately below the meteorologist’s profile pictures.

Yet the story talks about “…an already above-average hurricane season.” The left has abandoned any pretense of telling the truth. Now, every one of their propaganda organs just lies prolifically, day in and day out, about everything. So long as their treasured “narratives” are protected, they don’t care about the dirty little details of how it’s done.

Last Fall I saw a vid of a German PSA that was basically how to keep warm and survive in your unheated apartment. I wish I’d at least bookmarked it, if not saved it.

Hurricane season really doesn’t ramp up until September here in NC. If we get zero storms, it could affect our water supply. This summer has been unusually wet.

We’re boring we just bought a dual fuel generator that will power an entire 31 ft RV. Or all the major appliances in our house.

One of those is on my wishlist. It has to wait until my house is built, though.
