They sure DO grow ‘em big up there! LOL
You have rain now but there wasn’t much during growing season. Maybe the people who go to the trouble to produce those monstrous cabbages do grow them in greenhouses. Optimum temps and water are in their control that way.

In 1978 Major Howard was my RI (Ranger Instructor) during the Mountain Phase. Everyone was in awe of him. He used to ask “How many Rangers does it take to complete the mission?” The answer was 1.
He related how one time he was the only member left from his patrol, he continued on. While observing the enemy he was so exhausted he kept his knife point up under his chin so he would not fall asleep.

No the rain never did hamper our visit to the lake but now the grass is starting to grow so I gotta get ready to mow pretty soon.

I had a really nice ride yesterday. The now brakes work great!
Tippy and I have increased our range today. We are now doing at least four miles.
