Believable. I will go to my grave believing that the GOP decided in 2018 that they couldn't keep making excuses about why they were blocking Trump on everything so they intentionally threw the midterm election in the house. So many safe seats retiring, so many weak candidates clearly mailing it in. And the result: the dems could do the blocking while the GOP was able to pretend to the base that they were just so unable to do anything they'd promised for decades or that Trump was trying to do because of the meanie democrats that they themselves put into office just so they could say these things.

Red wave skepticism because of Pro-Trump wins in blue states? Illogical. If blue states have Pro-Trump wins that means that both blue states and red states will unite with a big pro-Trump win. Someone is playing logic games with the moderate voters to confuse them into voting for Dems.
