Baldwin Expects No Charges Over Fatal Movie Set Accident
Newsmax ^ | August 19, 2022

US actor Alec Baldwin said he does not believe anyone will be criminally charged over the fatal shooting on the set of Western film "Rust," telling CNN he has hired a private investigator to assess culpability for the tragedy.

...

While insisting he does not want to "condemn" Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film set's armorer and props assistant, Baldwin pointed the finger of blame at her and assistant director Dave Halls, who handed him the gun moments before the shooting.

...

"... I want everybody to know that those are the two people that are responsible for what happened."

Note to self: if ever being investigated for murder argue that the gun just fired on it's own and I had nothing to do with it.

Then get some prison tattoos so I fit in with the fellows in the State Penn because that's where I'd be headed if I tried to make that argument.

He’s a member of the protected Democrat class. Proving that protected Democrats can get away with murder, even of their own in public.

FBI determined trigger was pulled.

So the guy who drew, pointed and fired the gun, killing an innocent woman, totally denies bearing any responsibility.

This kind of entitlement, detachment from reality and breathless arrogance totally exemplifies the Progressive mindset.

I hope he goes to jail for a very long time.

As Trump said, there was no reason to point a gun and pull the trigger. If wanted to joke he could have pointed and said ‘boom’. Or just used his hand to mimic the act. Toss this hot headed unthinking jerk into jail.

Yep. Remember Kim Potter the female cop who accidentally shot the thug Daunte Wright who was trying to use his car against cops? She got convicted of 1st and 2nd degree manslaughter and 2 years in prison. Baldwin gets his ass kissed, not even arrested.

He’s still going to get sued for all he’s got and ever will get. Criminal liability and civil liability are two different horseflies.

First, it was negligence, not an accident.

Second, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was the armorer, and was partly responsible. Dave Halls “checked” the firearm and handed it to Baldwin, and so shared responsibility.

But Baldwin pulled the trigger, and so had the ultimate responsibility.

Baldwin was not the only one who was negligent, but he was definitely negligent.

Whether he or anyone else is criminally negligent I can’t say. Whether anyone is civilly liable I also cannot say.

But that all three were negligent is clear.
