National Republican Senatorial Committee funds declined to just $28.4 million by the end of June. (Photo: Manuel Augusto Moreno via Getty Images) Anumber of Republican strategists and consultants are growing increasingly dismayed about millions of dollars vanishing at the National Republican Senatorial Committee — just when the funds are needed most, The Washington Post reported Friday.
Cash at the national campaign fund is dwindling as candidates head into the final stretch of Senate races across the U.S.

Don’t do that!!! Those two are definitely not worth it. We won’t allow that ;-)
I never donate to groups, anymore. I donate directly to individuals through their websites. That way it goes where I want it to go.
It's that simple.
Then the question has to be asked, how is the Trump/MAGA campaign doing? I think you will find your answer to where the “missing” money is going.
NRSC calls are indeed flagged as spam by my Comcast service.
Interesting info here comparing winred and act blue. Don’t accept anything as fact yet. There is an agenda
Winred is a for profit business. They appear to pass on all dollars received. Their income is from sources other than fees?
The self-described “#1 fundraising technology used by conservatives” reported less than $2,700 in operating expenses since January 2019 despite processing over $2.8 billion in earmarked contributions – and $212 million in contribution refunds
I don’t trust Mitch one bit.
The Democrats are spending big for ads in Florida. I am so sick of Nikki Fried and Charlie Crist ads already I could just scream! And Val Demings (running against Rubio). Oh, and since I live in northern FL, we get all of Stacy Abrams ads also! We only see a few Republican ads and they are for someone I never heard of before “Kat” somebody.
KcuF the GOP
I began detecting them when they foisted Bob Dolt on us
If WINRED were a legitimate operation, one would expect to see some defense of that entity here on FR, since most of us are Republicans. Instead, the only thing my comment has gotten is statements of concurrence. That means WINRED is a really bad entity that is probably causing the Republican Party to lose a vast amount of small contributions it should otherwise be getting. I hope the representatives of some of our better senators, like my Sen. Blackburn, are reading this. That way something might be done about the WINRED corruption. Also, even though the article I posted was was from the left wing rag, “Huffington Post,” no one here has denounced it. Usually such things are slapped with barf alerts. All this again shows what a terribly corrupt thing WINRED is and how it needs either to be totally reformed or ripped out.
They call me so often...three days in a row that after I said “nothing to the RNC, I only donate to Trump” I blocked the number they were calling from.
LOL!
A lot of it is from folks who realize that donating to the GOP on the national level is like paying be kneecapped.
The GOPe half of the Uniparty should starve for voter donated funds, and it’s likely they don’t really care if they do at this point. One of the advantages of being a crooked money laundering operation that sets the rules of the game is when the voters demand reform, you simply plug the money machine into big tech, foreign influence and big slush funds with funny names like Ukraine.
They are likely more worried that the level of discontent will outpace the margin of cheating and influence peddling. The rhetoric and tactics used against Trump and Trump supporters seems fear based at this point, so maybe it’s a good sign they can’t dupe rubes as much as they used to.
Mitch, Eyepatch McCain, Nikki Romney, Murcheatski, who wants that? Maybe Linda Graham will fix it with a letter or his J6 Pony show testimony.
Republican sans MAGA is dead.
Winred is part of the insider political fundraising scam (actblue is no better for the dems), that skims a cut off of the top, and who knows where the bakshish flows after that.
I stopped sending money to the NRSC a couple of decades ago, and I still get calls, probably because I send my contributions directly to campaigns that I want to support. This year it’s Kari Lake and Blake Masters. Is either one perfect? Not close. But they’re the best on offer.
The GOP must be destroyed and re-built from within.
Detesting them....
Stupid smart phone
Thanks for posting the link to the open secrets article. The last paragraph is a real zinger:
“The complaint comes days after The New York Times reported online donations to WinRed dropped 12% from the first to the second quarter of 2022, while donations to ActBlue jumped 21% for that same period.”
It’s looks like a horde of otherwise loyal Republican contributors are getting the idea that WINRED is a scam and have shut off contributions that are run through it. Once again, this case calls for a serious investigation and major reform of WINRED, if the Republican Party wants to finance its operations through any kind of a distribution center like WINRED.
Republicans demand to know whose pockets received the missing millions.
I don’t know if my calls from Republican sources have been blocked, but I do know that I get lots of lots of calls that are labeled as spam. Maybe I’ll try answering one to see if it’s also been blocked. The thing is, I’m so sick of receiving fundraising calls and emails that I generally don’t respond to them and, as far as the emails are concerned, simply delete them. My telephone provider is Spectrum.
I think much of the donations that used to go to the RNC now go directly to DJT.
Donate directly to the candidates you support, folks!
