A study of 301 teens in Thailand found mild and temporary heart rhythm changes after a second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine among one in six teenagers, not one-third as social media posts claim. The study also saw possible signs of heart inflammation in just seven of those teens with rhythm changes and confirmed myocarditis in only one of the seven.
Social media users are circulating the study of post-vaccination heart effects in Thai teenagers with the claim that a third of participants experienced heart effects, and the suggestion that the results indicate a new danger level for children. These posts are missing context: the study’s authors concluded, “We found the risk of these symptoms to be not as low as reported elsewhere, but in all cases, symptoms were mild with full recovery within 14 days.”
A Twitter post shared more than 11,000 times (here) contains a link to the preprint study by Suyanee Mansanguan of Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital in Bangkok and colleagues, with the comment, “BREAKING: A new study has found cardiovascular adverse effects in around a third of teens following Pfizer vaccination, and heart inflammation in one in 43, raising fresh concerns about the risks of vaccination for young people. This is beyond concerning.”

Rat News doing what it can to dispel concerns of Pharma abuse.
How does that compare to Covid itself? Has anyone studied how many Thai teenagers have heart effects after getting Covid 19?
Also how serious were these heart effects? How long did they last?
Propaganda and not at its finest either.
Red flag BS.
Only 1 in 6? Why that’s practically zero, isn’t it? LOL. I don’t think this is exactly the debunking “gotcha” that Reuters apparently considers it.
One in 10 would be unacceptable. CDC says true number is 1 in thousands. One in 6, if it turned out to be true, is ghastly. Crimes against humanity.
Again they are implying heart inflammation is minor and transitory - in the US officials said the same thing as if myocarditis was like having a headcold.
Informed consent - were parents told of this risk? Of course not!
1 in 6. So the people comparing the shot to Russian Roulette are way off, aren’t they?
So one in 301 for confirmed myocarditis is OK? One in 6 for cardiac effects don’t sound good to me either.
Messing with the genetic machinery and ticker is a very bad proposition.
Extrapolates out as about 150,000 per 50 million young men or boys getting PROVEN myocarditis. That is very bad. And that is just one side effect.
Absolutely no mandates. Choose your own poison, however. No one should be punished for exercising their choice. If they die from covid that is punishment enough.
Nice one!
Sounds like the makings of a classic Babylon Bee story. Smellin’ what MDL is Cookin’!

Whether or not this is true, some context...
In ‘77 the Swine Flu vaxx was pulled after causing fewer than 3 dozen reported deaths and 500 reported injuries.
Deep State clearly places far less value on human life these days, doesn’t it.
NYS has restated its #VaxtoSchool campaign.
I hope to God there are very few takers.
The authors themselves state
Cardiovascular effects were found in 29.24% of patients, ranging from tachycardia, palpitation, and myopericarditis.
in the abstract, then:
Fifty-four patients had abnormal electrocardiograms (predominantly sinus tachycardia or sinus arrhythmia) after vaccination
in the actual paper.
I’ll admit I’m a bit confused. I don’t know that Reuters is qualified to correct Dr. Simone Gold.
Actually, only 1 in 6 teens get heart palpitations from the mRNA, not 1 in 3.
if the 1 in 6 number is true, this is a massive crime against humanity.
Yeah it's more like your chances of getting shot by Alec Baldwin, oh wait
I’m glad to see this corrected. Gee... not 2 in 6, it’s only 1 in 6. I feel so relieved with that insight. Can I please have a look at the uncertainty analysis?
First of all Thailand isn’t a particularly prosperous or advanced nation so one shouldn’t put too much trust in any figures its government releases. And second of all...Reuters.
the head of Rooters, sits on the board on one of the Big 3 Pharma. Forgot which one..
Oh, so that’s okay then ... /sarc
