Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., argued the FBI should release the affidavit used in the raid on Mar-a-Lago. On "Fox & Friends" Thursday, Rand Paul said the only way to restore confidence in the FBI is to determine through the affidavit whether the raid on President Trump's home was justified.
RAND PAUL: I think the burden is on the FBI to justify this raid. This is extraordinary. This is also the same FBI that used a foreign intelligence warrant to snoop on and spy on the Trump campaign to investigate them for over two years. So I think the burden really is on the FBI. They've been wrong in the past. They've broken the law in using these foreign intelligence warrants. Now they used a domestic warrant, but I do think they need to release the justification for this, because this is extraordinary. And we should not lose sight of the fact this has never, ever happened before for good reason, because we need to have confidence in the FBI. We need to have confidence in our intelligence agencies that they're there to protect us and not to go after people for political purposes. So the burden is on them to prove that this is not a politically motivated witch hunt.

Rand is correct on that. It is up to the DOJ and the FBI to show the proof.
With their recent record, the clear presumption is that is was corrupt.

The DOJ/FBI raided Maralago because of Russiagate files declassified by Trump and because of Trump’s Rico lawsuit, which the government is stalling and because DOJ does not want the files orderd by Trump for release to become public. Everyone knows that!
The FBI has been committed to “get Trump” for at least 5 years now.
They are not an honest law enforcement organization, they are organized criminals.

Rand is right, but the FBI is under no obligation to prove anything to him or us.
It's on the DOJ too... maybe even more so. The FBI had nothing to gain and a lot to lose. The DOJ was pure scum and evil... with lots for Merrick Garland to win.

Hopefully, what Trump had in the boxes seized were COPIES of the originals, and the originals are safely stored elsewhere. If Trump were to introduce copies in his lawsuit the crooks would object and claim only originals can be used as evidence, and since the originals don’t exist (how could they know that?) The copies can’t be used.

I think President Trump will come out of this outrage with flying colors. I think he’ll easily get elected in 2024. What frustrates me is that I don’t have confidence that he’ll/we’ll dismantle and destroy these people and institutions that have so insideously abused their power to treasonously rob and destroy all of us.
