Last Friday, John Fetterman stepped on a stage in Erie, Penn., to give his first public rally since he suffered a stroke on May 13.
The Democrat running for Senate in Pennsylvania received a hero’s welcome from the crowd, who twirled Pittsburgh Steelers Terrible Towels in the air. The six-foot-eight, bald and goateed Fetterman sported his signature black hoodie with the sleeves pushed up to reveal large tattoos, as he went on to offer a comeback story that has always been his brand.
“Three months ago my life could have ended, but I’m so grateful to be here as well,” he said. Later, he joked, “There’s a lot of differences between me and Dr. Oz. Who would have ever thought that… who would ever think that I’d be the normal one in the race here?”
The crowd roared with laughter. Currently, polls show the lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania ahead by 8.7% against the Trump-backed Dr. Mehmet Oz. But, during his 11-minute speech at the Bayfront Convention Center, Fetterman, 53, stumbled several times over his words, often repeating them, as his voice wavered. Several who were in the crowd that night told me they were worried about his health and ability to go the distance.

Dr. Oz needs to pound the shit out of this guy about having a debate. Think about this the lights the format the people in the audience the pressure John not only has problems putting the synapse together he will choke. Pressure pressure pressure he can’t go the distance. Dr. Oz you’re not gonna get the women in Montgomery and Delco in Bucks County to vote for your for ass. You’ve got to go for the eagle fans and the Steeler fans and everything in between. Pound the crap that you don’t want anybody or your children near this guy.
A stroke-hit Biden sponged off taxpayers forever but now mostly drools... And the puppet masters keep him moving.
Seems to me that Bernie Sanders was a “professional” PARASTIE until some idiots thought that it was a good idea to send him to Congress in his mid to late 40s.
Seems to happen a lot these days.

I wish we had a solid GOP candidate running in this race. Losing to Fetterman is going to suck.
Fetterman needs to step down. He clearly has health problems. If he can beat Oz that means basically any Dem can beat him.
And pound on the fact that they will try to elect another dem who is now physically and mentally unable to do the job. They will hide him just like they did with Biden. No one will know who is running the state, but they will run it into the ground.
If Mastriano wins Governor, he names the replacement when Fetterman dies.
Not to be a ‘Debbie Downer,’ but I drove from Gettysburg to Lancaster last weekend - didn’t see even ONE Dr. OZ lawn sign - but saw lots of Fedderman signs ...
How is the great and powerful Oz losing to this guy?
Because he’s a carpetbagging Turkish Muslim.
The second Trump endorsed this loser, the election was over.
For Republicans to win, we need massive turnout in the center of the state. That’s not going to happen.
