In discussing the Hunter Biden investigation with The Federalist, Bill Barr, most recently Donald Trump's attorney general, said:
Intervening events, especially recent reports about FBI whistleblowers and the possible reach of the investigation, warrant adding the protections of special counsel status to assure that key decisions are made independently without political favor.
Wow! Talk about an inflated sense of his own authority. Barr exerted only minimal influence over the DOJ when he was in charge. Does he really believe they care what he thinks now?
Why doesn't he just insist that Hunter, Joe, and the whole Biden clan confess their sins? That's about as likely to happen as Merrick Garland taking advice from him.
But maybe Barr's newfound concern is more about assuaging his guilt than achieving anything resembling justice. The Hunter Biden scandal is just a byproduct of the mess that Bill Barr left behind when he handed the DOJ over to the likes of Merrick Garland.
When Barr was appointed head the DOJ, he never seemed to recognize something that had been obvious for years to anyone without blinders on. The DOJ was already steeped in corruption — the rot was part of its culture.
In the years preceding Barr's tenure, the DOJ had engaged in gun-running to drug cartels. That was a departmental attempt to "juice up" the gun violence statistics in support of more gun control. The attorney general at the time, Eric Holder, was even held in contempt of Congress for withholding evidence of the scandal.
The DOJ had spent at least a year functioning as Hillary Clinton's "fixer." The Department of Justice destroyed evidence and granted immunity to guilty players — and got nothing in return. The attorney general at the time, Loretta Lynch, even had clandestine meeting with the husband of the target.

What has an emboldened DOJ done since Bill Barr handed it off to the Biden administration?
That is the level of rot that has resulted from Barr's failure to take action.
Now, when he's not supporting the Democrat's "big lie" narrative, Bill Barr is calling for Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel. He's asking an attorney general who is uninterested in justice to pursue justice. Does he not see the flaw in that reasoning? Has it occurred to him that politely asking evil to be righteous is an exercise in silliness?
I wonder what Durham is up to these days. Sure don’t hear anything in the news. That’s a good thing.
d:^)
If Bill Barr has any concerns it’s only that Merrick Garland is such a fascist that he’s giving away the uniparty game. He’s supposed to play it low key, do his damage behind the scenes in secret and then wrap himself in the flag and talk all law and order in public but instead he’s doing it all out loud. So Barr is simply trying to do some cleanup for the uniparty with these comments.
Well, to the best of my knowledge, he lost the case (described as lost badly) against one of Clinton’s attorneys. Haven’t heard much since, sooooooooo.
Could have produced a lot more quickly if he hadn’t been at home Toobin’ all the time.
Why do people keep pretending that the federal government is not making prosecutorial decisions based on political, religious, gender racial and “lifestyle” criteria?
Why do conservatives keep pretending that Republicans care about “equal protection under the law”?
Our government, at all levels is about gathering growing and maintaining tyrannical control over all aspects of America.
The looting of the treasury by congress and bureaucrats is a side business.
This isxwhere we are.
Bill Barr is a pathetic waste of good carbon.
Barr saw his chances to sink Trump and took ‘em.
Bagpipe Barr has no cred.
Bill Barr was walking along the shore, saw a half-dead octopus on the sand, thought it was a bagpipe, picked the creature up tried to blow “Scotland the Brave” through one of its tentacles.
When he squeezed the thing it squirted black ink all over his face. He looked like Al Jolsen.
It sounded like “mmmpppff, mmmppfff, mmmpppff.”
That isn’t the only thing fat boy blew.
He didn’t “blow” anything.
He deliberately ignored it.

Barr had his chance and took full advantage of it. This miserable POS is the mechanism that was used to protect the various coups. He buried every investigation so deep we will never see justice. The Durham rat hole has still tied up documents or testimony Trump or anyone might be able to produce. The “ongoing investigation” dodge of Barr’s has put anything remotely incriminating from Russia, Russia, Russia off limits. I’m sure anything found during the Trump raid that might have gotten traction will be so buried.
Barr sickens me.
There is a documentary produced by Stone, a look back on the movie JFK. I know many people hate him because of politics. The point is, the same things happened to Kennedy, as are happening today. The chain of command was not followed, the FBI and the CIA covered up and likely had a hand in the murder.
This is not a movie, it is a chasing down of facts.
Sorry guys, but it is chilling and watching it shows just how far the “Military Industrial complex” has come. It is now morphed into an “all in one” control mechanism. From the Colleges, media, technocrats, FBI, CIA, Pentagon, power companies, INS, worldwide communism, and the military.
Guys, republicans alway blow it. It is the part they play in the uniparty.
Never trust a man in a dress,
a psychiatrist in a toupee, or
an AG who finger-tents.
Barr didn’t “blow it”. He got the outcome he intended. Barr is a career slimeball.

BINGO!
The short answer is that the ‘rats and the RINOs, with very few exceptions, think and act 24/7 in conformance with the principle of DECEPTION in order to achieve their own personal objectives. The health and welfare of our nation and its people are NEVER their primary objective.
