The left is making it impossible for Trump to find a lawyer
American Thinker ^ | August 18, 2022 | Andrea Widburg

Former president Donald Trump and close aides have spent the eight days since the FBI searched his Florida home rushing to assemble a team of respected defense lawyers. But the answer they keep hearing is “no.”

“Everyone is saying no,” said a prominent Republican lawyer, who like some others spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss confidential conversations.

“A man’s rights rest in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.”

Well, one and two have been polluted and corrupted beyond redemption by Communist infestation of our body politic.

That Project 65 deal linked in the article is one scary outfit. Lawyers with a mission ...

Remember, Liz Cheney is a lawyer, too, who missed class the day they taught about a right to defend oneself.

Yes. I have wondered why so many former Trump employees ‘suddenly’ turn against him or his wife soon after leaving employement.

I don’t know of any way to stop this sabotage of a lawyer search. The DOJ picks and choses who to enforce the law against, with Democrats being favored, of course.
The Rule of Law is simply ignored by the powers that be.
To observe the law has always been a choice, but till now, more of the deciders had a sense of honor to be more fair.

WHEN TRUMP WAS PRESIDENT, he should've stricken the classification headings on ALL Crossfire Hurricane documents then written "UNCLASSIFIED" ON THEM AND INITIALED THEM.

AS PRESIDENT, HE HAD THE AUTHORITEH (CARTMAN'S WORDS) TO DO THIS, SO WHY DIDN'T HE?

THEN, he should've wrapped up two sets of copies, sent one to Bannon and the other to Tucker. He wouldn't be able to MAIL them because the FIB would intercept them and destroy them.

WHY. DIDN'T. HE. DO. THIS?

The TRUE intent of the FIB'S HOME INVASION ON MAR-A-LAGO was to retrieve documents from Trump regarding the perpetrators (the FIB) of the 'Trump-Russia collusion' HOAX because they are deathly afraid of these documents becoming public.

This is scary. If it can happen to Trump, it can happen to anyone.

Only explanation I could offer is that he genuinely believed he was a shoe-in for a second term.
He would have taken care of a lot of unfinished business then.

The current administration is not beyond auditing every law firm that helps Trump.

I also think he’s often convinced he can charm/persuade his way forward on anything.

Sorry, I don’t buy it. Trump can afford any team he wants. But he also seems to keep around those that chase the others away. I’m sure there are some credible attorneys out there, Trump supporters, that are ready and able to help. What he’s got to avoid are the charlatans and drunks.

Sounds like the quintessential weaponization of an executive branch, doesn’t it?

His current attorneys are useless. Standing around doing nothing while DOJ/FBI raided his home for NINE HOURS. What have they done since to get those docs locked down, to get the judge replaced, etc.? NOTHING OBVIOUS.

This is akin to hrc’s work to deny Nixon legal representation. In fact, it makes Hrc a prime mover in this present situation. What part is she playing now?

Do you know what non sequitur means? Its like trying to explain targeted legal harassment of lawyers by asserting the lawyers were stiffed on legal fees. Even if true, what follows?
