I’ve come to realize that I never liked Cheney nor Bush

I was never a strong supporter of either, but I held my nose and voted for Bush, and his father. It’s only in the last five or six years that I have felt comfortable with voicing my disgust. In the past, my criticism was limited to policy disagreements. But now, I really loath both. They have taken their masks off and have completely exposed their true intentions. Most of that is antithetical to what I have long believed.

Ron Paul nailed the neocons in 2003 in his famous hour long speech in the House “neo-conned”. He was widely attacked at the time, but history has shown that he was spot on in his assessment. The neocons only became R’s because of McGovern and the antiwar contingent in the D party. They are NOT conservative or libertarian or constitutionalist by any measure. Some may recall how much they hated real conservatives and paleoconservatives.
