Democrats appeared to mourn the projected loss of Never Trump Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) to the Donald Trump-backed candidate Harriet Hageman.
The Cook Political Report and Decision Desk HQ found that Hageman will unseat Cheney in the battle for Wyoming’s at-large congressional district.
Many Democrats did not take the news well.
Jon Cooper, a former finance chair for the Draft Biden 2016 campaign, wrote, “The GOP is going to pay at the polls for what they’ve done to Liz Cheney:”

Why wouldn’t they? They just lost a pretty reliable voter for their looney causes.

Do a gofundme for her remaining time in office. Pay her off to quit now.

The way Trump’s rolling, the FBI goons loom larger and larger. No one is taking their bait on DiSantis, not even DiSantis. How else are they going to stop Trump?

“The GOP is going to pay at the polls for what they’ve done to Liz Cheney”Seems to me that Liz Cheney, not the GOP, is the one paying at the polls.
What an idiot.

++++++
The PEOPLE of Wyoming sent her packing because she didn’t represent them to their satisfaction. That’s how it’s supposed to work. I’m pretty sure they don’t give a rat’s backside about what some operative from New York thinks. That’s also how it is supposed to work.

(is she running in 2024?)
She might think she is, but really. What/where is her base? All that she thinks she has going for herself is her hatred of Donald Trump. Democrats hate him too, but
they have plenty who would like to be President—why would they pick her?
Anti-Trump Republicans? They don’t have all that good a track record of winning elections since it appears that Republican voters actually like President Trump as demonstrated this evening in Wyoming.
She’ll get a nice job with a ‘news’ network. But unless she moves to New York or California, she’ll not likely hold elective office again.
