WILSON, Wyo. — For much of the morning at the place where Liz Cheney was expected to cast a vote for herself in Tuesday’s Republican primary, there were more reporters than voters waiting to cast ballots.
Yet at times, the line to enter the barn-red community center in Wilson — a wealthy, mostly white enclave of fewer than 2,000 people at the base of the Teton Pass — extended nearly to the street. Longtime residents said they had never seen anything like it.
The voters who rode up to the city’s lone polling site in elite performance bicycles, Teslas and luxury trucks seemed mostly to fall into three camps on the polarizing issue of the day, Cheney’s reelection: Republicans who dislike Cheney and voted for her opponent Harriet Hageman; Republicans who admire Cheney’s resolve and bucked what seems to be the overwhelming sentiment in the Wyoming GOP; and Democrats who never voted Republican, but crossed party lines to support Cheney.

Teton County, home to Jackson, a new playground for the ultra-rich set against a breathtaking natural landscape, is unlike anywhere else in this heavy mining and agricultural state. It’s Wyoming’s bluest county, meaning voters here are more likely to be Democrats who voted for Cheney, an uncommon phenomenon that Cheney’s campaign encouraged.
Cheney never arrived Tuesday morning. The Jackson Hole News and Guide reported that Cheney had actually voted the day before at the Teton County Library.

A friend of mine Phil Collins, principal trumpet/first chair trumpet (not the singer), with the Cincinnati Symphony and Cincinnati Pops Orchestra’s recorded that original score for ‘Star Wars’, for John Williams, as well as many other original orchestral movie scores, and they have been played by orchestra’s around the world since.
Great guy. And he has a beautiful, talented, God honoring, patriotic family.
His wife was the First Chair violinist for the Cincinnati Philharmonic Orchestra. Children all played professionally, with his daughter (Tracy A Collins) cutting multiple inspiring Classical/Sacred full orchestral CD’s.
Hahahaha!
A Cheneygoyle!
.
Looks like he has one foot in the grave, don’t relish this on anyone
So far only about 500 total votes in the dem primary, 12,000 in the GOP primary. Ya think a lot of dems are voting for Lizard in the GOP primary?
It’s Official: Rep. Liz Cheney Loses Her Primary
LOVE THOSE TYPE OF NUMBERS!!! Come on Wyoming, git er done and send this fat@$$ back to teaching in an intercity school.
Actually that's where most of her votes are coming from and she's still getting slaughtered.
Remember that if a Dem takes a Republican ballot in a primary in WY, it is counted as a Republican vote for that election.
The fact that there are only 500 Dem votes compared to 12,000 GOP (so far) tells me that almost all the Dems are taking GOP ballots to vote for Cheney. And it's not nearly enough!
If this was not an open primary, there's a chance Hageman would have gotten 85-90% of the true Republican vote.
Makes sense.
Wyoming is about 30% rat, so that might mean ALL of Cheney’s votes are dem.
Just want to say thank you to the massive number of Wyoming voters of all Political Stripes that Politically Destroyed....the Bitch/Witch/Traitor/Trump Hater, “Liz Cheney”!!! IMHO,it was truly a well deserved political slaughter, handed out to Ms. Cheney. Gladly she and her fifteen minutes of fame are, thrown into the nearest garbage can!!!
Cheney will soon find out, she has few friends in either the Republican or Democrat Party. She has been rendered as useless...this evening!!! She got exactly what she rightly deserved...period!!! Go Trump, Go Trump. Trump You Da Man!!!
Hageman = 64.5%
Cheney = 31.2%
11% of vote in.
I want Hageman at least at 70%.
.
The Media class kept saying Dems would cross over / and her Money advantage will come in during the last days.
So, it would be very nice!
Looks like Harriet Hageman will be going up against a democrat named GreyBull in the general election. “Bull” is a great name for a Rat.
“Great guy. And he has a beautiful, talented, God honoring, patriotic family.”
That’s awesome — I’m a fellow Ohioan!
Lizzie must have been bewildered by the beauty of the Wyoming she got there.
So different from her hometown in Northern Virginia.
He looks perfect there!
