WASHINGTON (AP) — A man armed with an AR-15 dies in a shootout after trying to breach FBI offices in Cincinnati. A Pennsylvania man is arrested after he posts death threats against agents on social media. In cyberspace, calls for armed uprisings and civil war grow stronger.
This could be just the beginning, federal authorities and private extremism monitors warn. A growing number of ardent Donald Trump supporters seem ready to strike back against the FBI or others who they believe go too far in investigating the former president.
Law enforcement officials across the country are warning and being warned about an increase in threats and the potential for violent attacks on federal agents or buildings in the wake of the FBI’s search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
Experts who study radicalization and online disinformation — such as Trump’s aggressive false claims about a stolen election — note that the recent increase was sparked by a legal search of Trump’s Florida home. What might happen in the event of arrests or indictments?
Amplified by right-wing media, angry claims by Trump and his allies about the search are fanning the flames of his supporters’ distrust of the FBI — though it’s led by a Trump appointee — and the federal government in general. And at least a few of Trump’s supporters now appear to be acting on his anger.

Yeah, how dare Trump defend himself... /s
I'm unaware that either of these two 'individuals' have been confirmed as Trump supporters.
Anyone know?
I don’t recall the AP being all hand wringy when the DNC spurred on REAL violence by BLM and AntiFa in the summer of love.
The AP approved and supports leftist violence and violent rhetoric.
I would however, also like to quote Thomas Payne: “Tyranny, like Hell, is not easily conquered.”
Do not be stupid.
Working on it.
Thousands of leftists sacked dozens of U.S. cities for months on end in 2020 and Democrats raised money to bail out the very small number of them who got arrested.
ALL OF THEM out there defending AND praising LEO is just nauseating, OMG they walk out there spewing this utter hypocrisy and don’t even SEE what fools they are, the fact that the SHEEP are shaking their Pom Poms screaming RAH RAH we m7st protect our law enforcement is just comical!!
“ALL OF THEM out there defending AND praising LEO is just nauseating”
They aren’t praising ALL LEO. They hate the street cops who enforce order. They LOVE their Federal DemoRAT thug enforcers.
David Klepper needs to wipe his chin.
More asspress propaganda. No comment ability either
Please bear in mind, violence enacted is not legitimate, if it is not done under the authority of a legitimately elected body. Meaning at a minimum, a state legislature. Maybe a Sheriff empowered to deputize citizens. Don’t be a John Brown. Don’t be a Weather Underground. Don’t be a criminal. Had John Brown waited a few years, he could have worn a blue suit and shot all the traitors he wanted without facing the noose. Things are going to get so bad, that red state governors will be forced to act to protect their citizens from these Communist wolves. To act on your own or in a “militia” is illegitimate, and by definition, criminal. The guys at Lexington and Concord were members of a state militia, with officers appointed by the Legislature. They acted in the name of the Massachussetts people. They were not random dudes who showed up one morning looking to shoot soldiers. For real, stand down. Don’t be stupid.
“I think Dick Chaney’s words in the political ad are angry and threatening.”
Amen to that!
My impression too.
...angry claims by Trump and his allies about the search are fanning the flames of his supporters’ distrust of the FBI — though it’s led by a Trump appointee — and the federal government in general.

Angry claims? We refuse to be raped by the FBI and not scream.
The Media are the biggest, most evil enemy.
That was not a call for violence on our side.
Just pointing out that only one side openly advocates for it and is defended and supported by the AP.
Kind of comical coming from the people who fanned the flames of massive riots and cop killings throughout the country for decades through their lies about “cops hunting down unarmed black men”.
I’m hearing plenty of calls for violence on both sides. My ancestors didn’t come from Ireland in 1776 to be IRA terrorist bombers against the Brits. They enlisted in the Continentals to serve under the Articles of War, commanded by officers appointed by Congress, acting in the name of the American people.
Of course the article never mentions the “angry words” spoken by President Trump.
We have obvious corruption. I think we need to focus on it
and weed it out.
Local law enforcement is put under a great deal of stress
these days. They are ordered to take hands off the looters,
and it drives them crazy.
We see the bad apples (officers). We don’t see the bad apple
civilians who these days don’t comply at all.
I support prosecuting clearly bad officers. I’m not so
sure officers who have been on the force 10 or more
years and haven’t had any major problems, should be
judged on one event. I do think that some leeway needs
to be given, but I’m not going to defend clearly out
of line activity either.
If we did away with all officers, this nation would crater
within six weeks.
I know the FBI is bad, but it needs to be addressed. I’d
like to see guy’s like Wray and his fellow travelers
prosecuted for some of the things he’s doing/not doing.
As for Waco and the Weavers, I’d like to see them go back
and prosecute the people who got away with what they did.
I will not tolerate that kind of behavior under the color
of authority.
